The service was excellent, receptionist was on hand with extra blankets, extra towels and extra wine glasses. I shared an upstairs room with three other ladies, 1 double bed and 3 single beds. The kitchen had a working stove, oven and fridge with a dining area which had seating for 5. The motel was a stone's throw to supermarket, restaurants...

Everything about this reminded me of a 1960's motel, whilst the room was ample in size and had a separate kitchen area which included a fridge, oven, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities everything was pretty dated. Towels were supplied, beds were comfortable but room would be chilly in the winter due to draughts from windows. Staff were pleasant, friendly...

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner and was very pleased with the motel. The receptionist was friendly on arrival and very helpful with information and tours. Room had everything we needed, fully functional kitchen, good shower and bathroom. Motel had a clean pool, spa area and laundry. Really good location and close to all the shops and lake,...

We booked through booking.com and was meant to have suite with separate room with private spa but what we got was a single room with no private spa. Stains on the carpet that had not been vacuumed properly, a springy base on one of the single beds, it was like sleeping on a water bed, curtains didn't block any morning...

Love the warm clear swimming pool. Many restaurants in walking distance. Two bedroom family units clean and spacious. Blinds good for sleeping. Kitchen and shower fine. Reasonable quality in good order. Not super modern. Internet sometimes slow. Could use more power points. Pack a multi power board if you have a lot of electronics. Some traffic noise in kids bedroom....

This motel is a classic with kitchen facilities and all the basics. The staff were very helpful and it was excellent value for money. However the beds were a bit tired and a light bulb was missing. On the plus side it is close to town which meant we could walk to the nearby restaurants. With a decent makeover this...

Very run down, sliding door to hot tub very hard to open, Hot tub leaks out the bottom. Bed wasn't clean long hair found in the bed. cup has coffee ring and stained lipstick on it. Over all this place is poorly presented and needs repairs. The bathroom ceiling was chipping away small holes in it. Ladies in reception were...

What a shame this motel, in a perfect location, is so tired and shabby. It is right by Kuirau Park which is pretty and there is great thermal activity. It is also just a stroll to the middle of town, Eat Street and the lake. Also very near the hospital. Although it was clean, it is very much in need...

Unfortunately we found the room to be very shabby, Duck tape holding the mesh window screen over the bathroom window, old frayed bath towels, bed linen did not look commercially laundered, my bed had springs sticking out to the point where I could not sleep on the mattress, wiped water off the kitchen floor and it came up very grey...

Hot pool was just what was needed on a cold night! Staff were very friendly, customer service here is excellent. The hotel overall is a bit shabby and worn but our room was tidy. Will return to this establishment if in the area again.
