Stayed here for one night and had no complaints. Room was clean and tidy and a good size. Our view was over the pool area which was nice. Only a short car drive to the centre of Rotorua. The pool needs a repaint but the spa was hot and clean. There was a gym room which is good, it was...

When we checked out they insisted that there was a mistake about the bill. They had to charge us $20 even we thought we paid in full when we booked our room. The standard room for three people was not that big. We don't think we would book this hotel again. Very basic hotel.

We stayed in at interconnecting rooms with a family of 5. They only provided 2 queen beds which meant our 8 year old slept on the floor. The room was big enough, though the door into the interconnecting room was annoying as it blocked the fridge. The decor was quite dated and the whole hotel was in need of a...

An expensive night but pure luxury!!! We got the last room at the only place with a vacancy thanks to Expedia. (Another man was in the final staged of booking our unit at the time we arrived and was therefore turned away because we had pre-booked on line whilst driving around looking for a place to stay) Lesson now learned...

Stayed two nights at the Apollo, in a one bedroom apartment. While the overall look of the motel a bit drab, the rooms were comfortable, clean & well appointed. There was a free guest laundry, two heated spas & a pool. Within is walking distance of some of the main tourist attractions, it was a great location but the Sulfur...

An average hotel & it's just a next to Whakarewarewa Thermal Village. Bed was relatively comfortable. Reception on only from 8 am till 5 pm of which I find quite odd for a hotel. They provide a washing machine & a dryer for the guests so it's quite challenging to do your laundry when other guests are doing theirs too.

Our group of six stayed in two one bedroom apartments located opposite each other. With queen beds in the bedrooms and single beds in the living areas the set up was ideal. The living areas and kitchenettes were very spacious, perfect to self cater and gather around in the evenings recapping on the adventures of the day. One of the...

Rude customer service at front desk insistent on taking my credit card details (despite prepaid booking) without telling me how much would be held on card or tell me what facilities was available to use (pool gym how to access or food on premises). The Studio room was dirty - visible stained curtains, pee stains on toilet seat, bathroom smelt...

We stayed the first two nights at Holiday Inn across the street, and moved to Apollo for the next two nights, since Holiday Inn was fully booked due to a conference. The rooms at Apollo are very nice and the beds were the most comfortable beds at any of the hotels we stayed at during our vacation. Apollo didn't have...

Great location for the Whakarewarewa Village experience. An enjoyable stay with friendly staff, spacious room with all the mod cons, clean and tidy. We will stay again when back in town and would recommend to others.
