My family of four stayed with Vivien at her B&B for two nights over the New Years time frame. We loved our rooms and the great common area for guests. The back yard is also beautiful. She even went out of her way to make a special bed set up for our 16 year old son, which he greatly appreciated....

My husband and I stayed with Vivien at her B&B for two nights, travelling to Taupo on one of the days for the Summer Concert held there annually. The accommodation, bearing in mind that it is also a private home, is lovely. Plenty of privacy, quiet and comfortable, up-to-date fit-out and very clean. (We stayed in the Tarawera Room.) Vivien...

Our room at the B&B at the Redwoods was very nice and comfortable, but Vivien made our time in Rotorua unforgettable. She helped us plan everything. I am usually one that has to have all of our activities preplanned and booked before we get there, but Vivien told us to wait and she would help us. I am so glad...

We stayed 4 nights at the B&B @ The Redwoods. Our hostess Vivien Cooper made us feel welcomed and she helped us navigate the best ways to go places. We had car trouble on our first day with the rental car and Vivien called the towing company for us and drove us back to the Airport Car Rental place to...

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Redwoods B&B in December. We found the location to be close to everything we wanted to see. Tour operators picked us up directly from the house. Vivien is very friendly, helpful with booking tours, advising on activities and makes a great breakfast.

Vivian is an amazing host who looked after us while on our holiday, she was even kind enough to do a little washing for me when I'd run out of clothes. The room was at the highest standards, quiet, clean and the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Close to the Californian redwood forest it was perfect. A+++

Well-kept and spacious rooms with easy access through the private decks to a lovely garden. Centrally located and a short walk to the The Redwoods. Our host, Vivien really pays attention to details to ensure guests feel at home. She is very helpful in suggesting itineraries around Rotorua and assists with tour arrangements.

Vivian our host in B&B The Redwoods made our stay perfect. She gave us best tipps to discover hidden places in the town and the surronding. As we had some issues with a lost mobile phone she did all to help us to get it back. The breakfast was excellent and she had that wonderful way to bring her guests...

For making our stay such a nice experience. This lady remembers names and others from first time conversations. We were allocated the room overlooking the garden, it was very comfortable with en suite. Breakfast set you up for the day, had poached eggs, soft as I had requested together with toast, mushrooms and bacon. Cereals are also on offer, Coffee...

Hi Rodney & Jean Thanks for your lovely comment and review. So happy to be able to host you both and talk about your time in Singapore back in 1965, before I was born. I was happy to hear from someone who was there when Singapore got its independence from Malaysia. Yes I am getting that bit of the carpet...

We spent two nights at The Redwoods and wished we could have stayed longer. Host Vivian was fantastic with advice on what to see and where to eat in Rotorua. The place was exceptionally clean and tidy and we welcomed the separate entrance. Tea and coffee was always on hand and it became a home away from home. The outlook...
