Beautiful park with excellent facilities, but the woman at the front desk who appeared to be the host was blatantly rude and nasty. We arrived at the mostly empty campground and the owner (male) was very polite and welcoming, we set up and were quite content until we went to cook, after cooking and cleaning up we left the kitchen...

Had an awesome week at this tourist park. It's kept very clean & tidy with good security. The hosts were friendly and helpful with lots of good local information. Great value for money, everything you need at very reasonable rates.

Very rude lady at the front desk made us feel so unwelcome as we checked in and the next day when i went to ask if we could book another night she looked at me then rolled her eyes and said NO! With a stern voice even though the camp was completely empty. I would never stay here again. I...

Lady at the front desk was very grumpy indeed. Seemed that our sunny disposition (holiday mode) and spending money at her facility was an interruption to her day. Based on the other comments seems this seems to be the norm. They only saving grace was how spotless the kitchen and bathrooms were. Will not be staying here again.

We were looking for accommodation on the cheaper side, for a married couple and two adult children in their early 20's and preferred self-contained so we could cook our own meals. We were relieved to be able to book the 2 bedroom family unit for two nights during the peak holiday period. When a friend saw our itinerary, he mentioned...

This seems to be a common trend among reviewers here, but the hosts were incredibly rude. Every time we asked a question they treated us like we were idiots. The cabins are cute but could use an update (especially the stained curtains!). The price is really good, so I guess you get what you pay for, but I probably wouldn't...

We spend a week at twin pines with the family and friends. We used it as a base camp. It is very close to Paihia and KeriKeri. The camp is slightly dated but functional. There are sufficient ablution facilities, however with a full camp the showers should all be open at all times. The kitchen facilities are great. We stayed...

Awful stayed, run down cabins, probably last time renovated in the 70s', if it is not sunny you would be freezing at night as wind blew inside wooden cabin, we even struggled just to open the sliding door with the key as it was too dated. We once arrived there, we couldn't find the reception as no indication whatsoever, we...
