When we arrived there was nobody around to check us in, so we had to find someone who could find the manager. The cabin was very damp - even the toilet paper on the roll was soggy to the touch. There was an overall mildewy smell to the place that lingered on outperform clothes after leaving and was particularly strong...

Spent a night here on one of our road trips and we were pleasantly surprised at the difference in quality in Camp sites in New Zealand, compared to the UK. Ok, so the unit we stayed in was pretty basic but given the cost, we have no complaints whatsoever. The site itself is spotless and amenities are plentiful. Each unit...

The reception and good and helpful and we got to pick a pitch. Large site but we drove around twice to find a level pitch. The kitchens were clean but devoid of pans and utensils. The showers/toilets are big but many of the showers have curtains instead of doors. Some showers did not have hot water and the others Luke...

This is a tranquil place to stay. It has a lovely setting with a pool. We stayed in a very clean and comfortable cabin with the added touches of towels laid out as if it were a 5 star hotel! It is central to Paihia and other historic places without being in the noisy part of the town.

Owner was arrogant and aggressive, the amenities where old and unkempt. There were drunk people making noise all night. There were holes in the roof of the amenities building. If your thinking of going anywhere don't go here.

Great holiday park for families. Clean, welcoming, fab for the kids. Lots to do- river swimming, pool, kayaks, trampoline. We had a cabin and a tent site by the river. Great sleeping listening to the river. Approx 15 mins from Paihia.

Stayed Monday 29th August, booked powered site for campervan for one night. We choose this park because it is part of Kiwi Holiday Parks group. Ideal location if you want to be out of town with the river nearby. Might be a bit too quiet if you were there for a few days. The facilities are old but well maintained...

We give this title to our review because in this camping we spent one night in the most delicious and unique place we ever had the chance to set our tent in: a small Samoan beach faleo’o (a platform on small stilts with a thatched roof), just next and above the river that runs alongside the camping ground. Curiously enough,...
