We were lucky enough to have 4 nights at Marlin House B & B. It made for a perfect stay in Paihia. Hosts Ray and Helen were incredible hosts, making awesome coffee/continental breakfast ( hot option for a small $) and giving us great restaurant tips. We had a King room , with essentially a private porch out front with...

This was a stunning B&B and great hosts, watching the storm roll in over New Years eve was amazing (even if it was too rainy to go outside). Breakfast was provided in the room and we ate on the balcony - when the rain stopped. It was walkable to town and great food options only minutes away. We loved our...

We stayed three nights at Marlin House and the owners , Ray and Helen, made us welcome from the start. The accommodation was homely and really well equipped with everything on hand to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was served outside on the patio with views over the Bay and we particularly enjoyed the fruit and freshly squeezed orange...

The location to town is close and you can walk everywhere. Our hosts were discrete but available if and when needed. Our unit was was very private and extremely comfortable. The continental breakfast that was included was more than ample and very delicious. The quality and comfort of the bed was luxurious and the free wifi was fast and reliable....

We were a larger group of travellers who stayed in the Marlin 4 bedroom apartment and could not recommend it more ! The spacious kiwi-living with a full size kitchen and lounge was more then enough to make us feel comfortable, my added favourites was the private garden courtyard with outdoor bathtub and huge out door deck and BBQ area...

We chose to stay at Marlin House, Pihia to celebrate our 39th wedding anniversary. It proved to be a fantastic choice. Situated in a very quiet no exit street made for a very relaxing break. A short walk down the road approx 500metres and into the Main Shopping/ restaurant area. There is a good choice of restaurants and takeaway food...

We booked this bed and breakfast by reading all the previous reviews. The room was lovely, spacious, nicely furnished but on arrival there was no one on site to greet us. We had to pick up a phone which went straight through to the owners mobile who said he would be 5 minutes, 15 minutes later he drove up. There...

I am sorry you felt that way. We have been in the tourist industry for 40 plus years and operating high end accommodation and Marlin House for the last 15 plus months. Yes some of the reviews have mistakenly called us Roger & Linda. Your main issue seems to be price and service. (I believe it was price) as your...

We loved Paihia and Marlin house was ideal for us a two couples.
