Hostel is ok. A male who lives in a flat downstairs who I assume is the manager is so rude. He screamed at a girl for cooking one minute past 10.30pm which is the time the kitchen closes. Made a fool out of her in front of everyone and asked her if she was blind and pointed to the sign...

Really enjoyed staying at this hostel staff and guests all very friendly everything you need and a really nice building to stay in. Would definitely recommend - in walking distance of town - can park outside but only for 2 hours in daytime - but there is parking on the road behind.

This hostel is very cozy and has the most comfortable beds that I have encountered in my travels through New Zealand. The bathrooms are all single toilet/shower combinations which is a nice change of pace from dorm style. The hostel is within easy walking distance from the main drag of Napier as well as a stone's throw from the ocean....

Well equipped hostel in great location close to sea ad supermarket. Comfy beds and friendly staff. they hire bikes ($20 per day which is the cheapest you will find) and have laundry machines. there are lots of bathrooms so you wont have to wait long which can be a problem in some hostels.

Great hostel. Tidy rooms but they are small. Large communal space makes up for it. Great facilities. Friendly staff. Bed was just ok - no springs in the mattress on the bunk beds so a bit stiff on waking. No fly screens on the windows and no fans in the room so I got eaten by sand flies in the...

This delightful survivor of both the earthquake & the developers chequebook is perfect for those who travel with a backpack. It is unsuitable for those in cars because parking is only on the street & that is nearly impossible on Marine Parade. I arrived by bicycle & was welcomed with a smile & storage for my bike & trailer. Yes...

Definetly not a bad hostel. I only expected a little more, because this place is a little bit too run down for a Yha. Staff was helpfull, free fast wifi. At least the bathrooms were clean enough. Overall good but could be better.

In the center of Napier, we stayed in this lovely hostel only for one night but it was very nice. Looks like a little family house. Clean. Good kitchen and cosy tv-room. Nice staff. Good facilities. Cheap.

Older more run down hostel. However the rooms are big and the bathrooms lovely and clean. Stayed in a double corner room with greats views of the ocean with big windows. Bathroom short walk down hallway. Great price for a night stay would recommend to anyone.

The hostel is in a good location. The beach is right across the road. The room was a little small (but probably average for a hostel). The kitchen and fridge were good size. Parking is limited to just what is on the side of the road.

Thank Andrew M
