My husband surprised me for my birthday with the president suite. The wonderful staff had placed rose petals all around the huge spa bath upon my husbands request. The room was very spacious and had a huge deck that over looked the marine parade and a beautiful view of the ocean. The spa bath was amazing was huge and fitted...

After our wedding, our bridal party arranged for a room for us at the nautilus. They arranged for a bottle of wine and a late check out, however staff neglected to mention any of this to us and there was no wine in our room. On the upside, the breakfast at 8am was good, when we checked out

Sorry that the bottle of wine was not in your room on arrival and that you never had a late checkout as per arranged. I have noted that your stay was in October 2013, The Nautilus is now under new management since June 2014 and I apologise for the error. We would love to host you again and offer you...

This is the second time my wife and I have enjoyed the Nautilus luxury. A big spa in our bedroom was heaven sent after we had spent the day planting native trees on a rural property in the Bay. But it was our dining experience that made our weekend even more memorable. We had previously only had breakfast in the...

We just checked out of The Nautilus after a 2 night stay and were extremely impressed! Although admittedly it doesn't look really flash from the outside.. Don't judge a book by its cover because the rooms are stunning! We stayed on the 2nd (middle) floor and had a beachfront view right onto marine parade. It appears that all rooms do...

Most impressed. All the comforts of home and MORE! Friendly staff both at reception and in the restaurant. Great value, location and view. Comfy bed (very important!). Lovely bright bathroom and furniture. Cannot fault it on anything and it will certainly be the first and only place we stay when back in Napier next time :-)

There were three of us-my daughter, husband and I. We took the family room with a queen sized bed and in another room, our daughter has two single beds. We loved our stay so much! The rooms were clean, had modern furnishings, coffee plunger (complete with coffee grinds). There is a fabulous view from our room to the sea. We...

It was fantastically clean, spacious and comfortable with good quality furnishings. The spa was huge. My sense is it is run by folks who are proud of the experience that they deliver. Very central, it's a stroll into the town centre.

The Nautilus has excellent views east over the ocean. It is the newest of a number of hotels/motels on Marine Parade and the rooms are well equipped. Mine had a king sized bed in the main area and two king single beds in a separate bedroom. The bathroom was bright and modern with a large circular spar bath and a...

Great location - spacious room & a great spa!! Bed was huge and the balcony great for fresh air. Parking looked like could be an issue - so get in early. Ocean across the road and a running/bike path through the park. Lovely town and good accommodation
