The hotel was in a good central location with some great restaurants and services nearby. It felt very tired though- the rooms decor and bathrooms were in need of updating. The room had a feint smell of cigarette smoke. Basic amenities were there including fridge, kettle, microwave. My room had no window but a light well. Fine for an overnight stay but couldn’t spend any time there working or relaxing.

Very small room. Sewer smell in the room. Very small room. Rabbit warren. Crazy room numbering. Only thing going for it was the location. I will never stay at ramada again as a result of this property

Just stayed one night but everything was pleasing from the service we received to our room and parking, staff where friendly and very helpful, location was perfect for our work training, we will definitely stay again and recommend the Ramada to colleagues, family and friends.

Located central Hamilton, lots of Asian food options nearby and pubs. Rooms are compact but clean and equipped with tea / coffee / kettle fridge etc. Bathroom clean with good pressure hot water. Good sized well equipped gym, Parking is charged at 15NZD (November 2023) but is secure, under cover with good sized spaces, you can call ahead to reserve.

Accommodation in the center of Hamilton main street, such a Great location so central. Parking available and Breakfast had a good selection of food. Beds were clean and extremely comfortable. Love the water pressure in the shower.

This place is more like a prison than a hotel in both appearance and facilities. Getting into your room is hit and miss and requires you to open the door in a particular sequence and then be prepared to be unable to leave from the paid parking

Not a pleasant experience at all. I made an early departure and was still charged. Apparently its because I used a 3rd party supplier which I wasn't aware of. I booked online. Since then the hotel has offered a one night FREE accommodation but given my experience its not worth going through that again.

This was a very strange hotel experience for us. We have never stayed where a portion of the hotel is apartments. This is also the first time we have stayed in a hotel where the room numbers did not correlate with the floor they were on. The parking was challenging. The room was small, but comfortable.

The Ramada is in a good location close to the river and eateries in Hamilton. We stayed for one night on the way to Auckland at the beginning of November. The rooms are clean and large enough for two. Car parking is limited at the rear of the hotel and was convenient. Staff are polite and helpful.

We were very happy with the size of the rooms. When booking we were told there was a king bed and 2 king single beds. I assumed they were in one room but was pleasantly surprised to find there were 2 bedrooms. One for the kids and one for the adults. We loved the shower water pressure and quality of the towels and linen. The beds were a bit squeaky but comfortable and we were exhausted from all of our activities that it didn't bother us. We got fresh towels the 2nd day which was great. It was such a handy central location and an overall enjoyable experience. Next time we will try the buffet breakfast downstairs as it looked delicious.
