Just a fantastic hotel with amazing attention to period detail, right in the middle of the city. Parking was tight but adequate and this didn't matter at all once we opened the door to the room. We didn't need or want extra ''amenities'' so didn't miss having a gym or pool.

Its nice and central granted, but the windows are very old style and don't let a lot of air in. ~When I stayed there, there was no air-conditioning. The reception is up a flight of stairs so if you struggle to lift your suitcase you might not enjoy this either. Then you get to re

"Ask when you book if there is air-conditioning and what direction it faces out on :-)"
"Pay for parking on your own at the nearby car park otherwise you will be charged extra!"
"I stayed in room 217 which was fine! View wasn't much though as it looked out over the car park where a truck came to pick up all the bottles but it wasn't late so didn't disturb or interupt my sleep!"
"Not with a street window as its noisy"
"Don't stay on the Wellesley st. side, the pedestrian beeping will keep you up all night. There is no view from anywhere in the hotel and if you're in the cheaper rooms it's quite noisy."
