Looking online thinking the room will be a great size, big room with a couch, nice size bathroom etc. But once me and my partner checked in, the room was really tiny!!!!!! We paid $596 for a room that is so small that we had to squeeze thru each other to past, the bathroom only had a very small shower,...

Very small rooms, no bar fridge, a bit cool and definitely not flash. Centrally located, parking available nearby, good for a short 1-2 night stay. Any longer you would want something more comfortable. Clean, 24hr reception, lovely lobby area, breakfast available.

Room was so small we could not fit a suitcase in the room. The toilet flushed toilet water over the lid and seat. The toilet water then pooled on the seat for the next user. No chance of dying yourself after a shower without your towel hitting the toilet, meals, shower and basin. The curtain, only 30cm from the bed had a...

Stayed 3 nights in a twin room. We were very happy with the room and was within our budget. Very clean and was just what we needed. Our room faced out onto the street and we did not get road noise. Had a great view to a beautiful church. Had breakfast there 2 mornings and it was a great price...

The best thing about this hotel is the location. Right in the middle of the city, about half way between Queen Street (the main shopping street) and the iconic Sky Tower. It was a short walk from where the airport bus dropped us off on Queen Street. But to get back to the airport, the Front Desk can arrange a...

Econo lodge seemed like a good idea initially being right in the CBD and reasonably priced but that may be the only good things this accommodation has to offer. My partner made the booking and called ahead to make sure that the room was wheelchair accessible, and the photos online showed a good sized wet area bathroom. Although on arrival...

We have now stayed here 3 times. The price is very reasonable, and location is very convenient for central Auckland. The rooms are on the smallish side, but for the price what can one expect. The rooms have always been very clean and service great. We will be returning. Easily booked via internet, and close to reasonably cheap long term...

The best thing about this hotel is its location - close to restaurants, shopping, and transportation. The room was very small, but clean. Their breakfast is an additional cost and is expensive, however there are many fast food restaurants serving breakfast within 2 blocks. We stayed here for 2 nights before boarding a cruise ship. It is an easy 5...

The Econo Lodge has a great location: about 75 meters from the intersection of Queen and Wellesley; about 150 meters from the bus stop for the airport bus; about 400 meters from the Art Museum and within easy walking distance to the harbor ferry terminals. HOWEVER, my room was bunker like and depressing. A tiny window faced a brick wall...

Tiny rooms... Haven't had one this small since I was in Japan. Bathroom is tiny too. Also... Have to crouch down to get my hair wet in the shower (I'm 5'10") The most annoying part is that the picture on the website was of a much larger room! Can't complain too much though, it's a good locational for a fairly...
