Clean rooms with beds that don't squeak, in my room at least, and best of all, fast free wifi! Breakfast with cereal, milk, and others is free as well til 9:30am. This is one of the smaller hostels, which I actually prefer, unlike Base or...More
Although I stayed a while ago I remember it as a place I would definitely stay in again and recommend to backpackers.

Very good location in the heart of Auckland CBD. Clean and tidy. Wide and spacious room, where you have free space between the beds to handle your backpack. Friendly and helpful service. Just a short walk to the tower and the wharf.
Stayed here for 4 nights. It's too cold in the rooms, even when all windows are closed.
Too noisy, and not even from stayers but from staff as well. Not friendly reception staff. Dirty bathrooms. Would never stay again.

As Manon mentioned there is a free day storage for backpackers which is used generally for people checking out and wanting to leave their belongings for the day, or checking in and waiting to go into the rooms at 2pm. You can also leave valuables behind reception in safe which is manned 24 hours per day. In the rooms themselves, the premium dorm rooms have lockers in them, you would need to have your own padlock for them though.
