My son and I stayed her our first night in NZ last August. It's conveniently located a couple of blocks from the skybus stop. Fancy was our hostess. She was friendly and quite helpful. The room was small, as was the bathroom and shower. We expected this from the reviews and had no issues with it. We weren't there to...

We had a function in the area so two nights here meant we could easily access all that we wanted. The rooms are good, bed is good, cleanliness outstanding. The showers are too small and the fixed shower head made it uncomfortable to wash in. The free wifi was excellent. Off street parking a real bonus in Auckland. Breakfasts were...

I came to Auckland at 6:00am so check in time was nowhere in site. I went to the hotel to drop my suitcase and they let me in. When staff arrived they offered tea or coffee and took my suitcase. I was welcome to stay in the common areas if I so chose. They were very accommodating and welcoming. Breakfast...

This is a little gem. It has a nice homely feel to it. Lovely cooked breakfast included in very reasonable tariff. Clean and comfortable. Pre-arranged late night check-in no problem. A great start to our NZ holiday.

We stayed four nights during daughter's university graduation. Very good location. Close to shops ,restaurants and bus stops. The staff members were all very warm and kind. They went to extra mile to help us when our daughter's car had a little problem. Thank you Patrick and Fancy. Will stay again if we go to Auckland.

Looks good from outside and on line. That's it. Room small (although there seem to be larger ones). Tiny shower cubicle. Uncomfortable bed. Broken furniture. Breakfast from tins and supermarket loaf of bread. Pity because good location (next to Mt Eden, no too far from airport, easy transport to CBD, parking). Not the best of Auckland suburbs. Maybe should have...

We have stayed here under the old management and were very satisfied. The new management has lost the plot. The Bavaria is looking tired, the room (No2) smelt of cigarette smoke and the breakfast was terrible. The Asian woman serving the breakfast was clearly out of her depth and couldn't even make a hot cup of tea! In the end...

The Mount Eden area is really attractive with two high streets within walking distance where you can get a meal or coffee. The airport shuttle bus passes nearby and you can catch a bus into the city centre from the high street. Very peaceful and pleasant setting. Room was cluttered and ensuite very small. Nice breakfast. Ideal for an overnight...

There were some great and not so great things about this B & B. We arrived on a late flight and had forgotten to notify them of our late arrival. To our pleasant surprise there was information posted on the door for us to get in. We were so relieved. Some of the staff were very helpful this way -...

Though we can say we were satisfied, we must admit that we missed the "Bed and Breakfast athmosphere", most motels and motor lodges offer a better personal reception. Clean room and shower, breakfast OK, easy connection to City centre by public transport.
