This is my go to hotel in Auckland whenever over the ditch for work. I always choose a 1 bedroom executive apartment and if you follow my lead, you will not have an excuse to complain. If you like clean lines, choose the tower, if you like character, choose the hotel side. The old timber beams in the hotel side...

We stayed here last two nights of a three week trip in NZ, three of us in the "two room/two bed" suite. I had asked for a quiet room on a high floor, which we got. We overlooked the rooftop pool, which is where we spent the majority of our time (beautiful views of bay and sky tower)--perfect place to...

The hall way to the room was stuffy and strong smell of old carpet. It needs retouching the whole interior. Accomodation was clean enough. The bathtub is very small. To get to the outdoor and indoor pool was a mission with not clear signage and it's quite a distance too.

Had stayed before , lovely room in main building, this time shunted to a nasty motel room looking over a service road on Nelson St. Cold, bathroom stunk, internet keeps cutting out (no surprise here - they don't want you to say what the place was like) and not worth $150 let alone $350 they charge. Is 2 star if...

Stayed here for three nights for work. Room is dated. Biggest problem was the poor wifi Internet that made sending a simple email a nightmare. Took over 30 mins to connect and reconnect before I could send one email.

We stayed 3 nights over Easter Weekend in the Family room. The room had two rooms with a glass sliding dividing door. The room was well proportioned with high ceilings so it felt roomy. The hotel put in a portocot for us. The kitchenette was handy for having young kids and making early breakfasts and healthy snacks of our own...

We did not stay here but saw their breakfast menu online. The restaurant welcomes casual diners. The full breakfast was not what we were wanting and so we chose the waffles. These were superb. They came with bacon, grilled bananas done lengthways in the skin. The creme fraiche, berry coulis and maple syrup in seperate dishes were excellent accompiants. The...

Love the character of this building. I can remember as a child going to the Farmers Department Store when it was in this building and you can tell that retaining some of that was important to whoever designed the hotel. Great location for central Auckland. Very comfortable beds.

We stayed after travelling from the UK via Singapore as a stopover before picking up a campervan for 3 weeks. Great staff, spacious comfortable room & good food. Also well positioned for exploring the city.
