Stayed here for 1 night for a business trip. My usual first choice hotels were busy so had too look a bit further out of CBD than I would like. However the Copthorne proved to be a pleasant surprise. Hotel is relatively small but tidy and well presented. Staff were all friendly and the room I had was a good...

I was booked in here last year as well by a client and back again recently for one night and I'd have to say this hotel is very tired. I also feel quite isolated and trapped when I am staying there - it is not very close to food shops or cafes. The TV while big was not very good....

Stayed one night at the Copthorne Auckland City in a Superior room apparently, when i booked this was the last room available as the hotel was booked out, Waitangi weekend. This room was not what i would call superior, lets head to the bathroom...there were tiles missing from the wall underneath the basin and you could see the gib and...

Stayed here for one night post cruise. Room adequate but tired looking. Tried to run bath and water came out of bother shower and bath taps. However, we were moved to another room which was fine, but it too could do with a spruce up.

Check in was smooth, room was average and seemed out dated. Bathroom was tiny, tiles In the shower were uneven and the walls had holes with grouts missing. Breakfast was minimal and was almost finished every time we came down and had to ask to replace various items, not enough staff. Wifi was expensive even then reception was not very...

Hotel was average quality and a short walk from the Auckland Marina. This was the beginning of our holiday and tour of New Zealand and this was below the standard we were expecting but fortunately our holiday accomadation improved

Very nice hotel with pretty good restaurant and very friendly staff -god location as far as walking down to the harbour area but good uphill walk back home so consider a taxi - did not like having to pay an extra $ 10 a night for internet.

We stayed 5 nights and had a corner room with nice view of park and (distant) harbour. The room was a reasonable size. The shower was good, and bed comfy. The soundproofing between rooms wasn't great, but just about ok as we only had one connecting wall. The room was clean - although one day it didn't get serviced at...

Enjoyed my stay as the rooms were basic but comfortable. Location wasnt the easiest to get around but a short taxi ride made it better than working the distance. Bonus would be not too far from eden park.
