We spent two nights at Rangitikei Farmstay on our way to Taupo. It's a great halfway stop from Wellington. The hosts, accommodation and setting were all fantastic. Our girls loved pony rides, feeding the sheep and the little dog Porky. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

We enjoyed our Christmas afternoon/ evening function spent at Rangitikei Farm Stay. Claybird shooting and Hole in One Golf went down a treat with everyone, followed by a delicious BBQ in beautiful, rustic surroundings. Kylie and Andrew are excellent hosts and their property will delight anyone who visits. Highly recommened to anyone.

We were 11 people and the bunkhouse room fit perfectly for us. The hills surrounded the farm was amazing, definitely recommended to go up to the top during the sunrise & sunset time. The animals are lovely, especially the two dogs that help manage/chase the sheep, excellent trained. The host (Andrew and Kylie) are very friendly, nice people. I enjoyed...

Rangitikei Farmstay is exactly what I pictured when we were planning our trip to New Zealand. The hosts (Andrew and Kylie) are accommodating and friendly, the animals are plentiful, and the surroundings are a visual feast. We booked a shearing and mustering demonstration, so we felt like we were at least in part living the farm experience. The thing I...

We went for the Kiwi combo, spent almost every day with the animals, kids loved the place, wife loved the fantastic view. Strongly recommend the short walk, remember to bring boots or similar to handle the farm walk, it is a farm after all with lots of animals. Highly recommended!

We have just returned home and had the trip of a lifetime, thanks Kylie & Andrew at Rangitikei Farm. Our stay at their farm was the highlight of our trip to New Zealand. It was so nice to relax and take quiet strolls through the rolling hills. Their dog "Porkie" was a great friend to take along on the walks....

I took a group of 14 Taiwanese students from IPU New Zealand to Rangitikei Farmstay. The owner is very friendly. The scenery is beautiful and feeding the animal up close alone is worth it. Definitely recommend for a day trip. If you can, spend a night here and you can star gazing and look at some glow worm too.

Our 'Rangitikei Farmstay' definately lived up to our expectations, being advertised on the homepage as 'a true kiwi experience'. After being on the road travelling for a while now, this place was one of our favourite stays, because we felt 'home away from home' from the first minute after arriving at the farm. It is a place where you can...
