This stay ticked ALL the boxes. I arrived at the tail end of cyclone Lusi and a difficult drive from Auckland. This warm, elegant B&B had an immediate relaxing effect. The next morning the storm had abated and the glorious views over the harbour were revealed. The bed, facilities and decor are superb. Glennis is the ultimate hostess, professional, friendly,...

Glennis is the consummate hostess and runs a very upmarket B&B but of the highest quality. Nothing is too much trouble and a more friendly hostess would be hard to find. Perfectly situated close to Whangarei and the Tutukaka Coast and with a sumptuous breakfast to start your day you are set for a holiday in paradise. Commanding views of...

After a long ride on the bike through the rain, McSherry's was a very welcome and wonderful place to stay. We've stayed before - the last time Glennis made us feel very welcome after we'd left another B & B in disgust at the state of it. Both times, she has been a gracious and genuinely warm host who loves...

This is a newish, modern two storey property with great sea views. There are separate decks upstairs and downstairs. The proprietor, Glennis McSherry, is very welcoming, warm and friendly, whilst being a true professional and making all her attention to detail appear effortless. There is one bedroom upstairs and two downstairs. The downstairs has its own lounge and bathroom ensuring...

Can't think of enough superlatives to describe this amazing experience. A beautiful, immaculate house with a superb view of the harbour from your own balcony. Glennis is a truly wonderful hostess and her 'co-host' Freddy is a lovable small dog who will make you feel like royalty. While Glennis is a wonderful cook, there is also a great little country style...
