Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Booked two apartments a month prior to our stay only to get a phone call the night before we were travelling 500km to be told they only had one apartment available and they ruined our holiday and the staff were very rude to us over the phone about the situation

Knowing my luck I would get the room facing the main road. The windows are not double glazed as they noise reduction only. Misleading advert. Was ok clean but noisey at nights the room. 4 out of 10. Most hotels in perth are not double glazed behind the times for a city.

No room service. Staff walk outs. Rooms not ready. At the time of travel, rooms were advertised as having daily service. Parking offered is tricky. Hard to get cars into bays. Lift not cleaned. Same coffee stains on floor all week.

Booked a queen bed, 1 bedroom suite. The bed is literally 2 single beds pushed together. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever 'tried' to sleep on. No sleep for us that's for sure. There is a bar fridge but no freezer so don't expect ice blocks for your drinks. The aircon is horrendous. yes, it was a 40 degree day when we arrived but the aircon unit is virtually above the corridor so that doesn't really help when your in bed and not feeling the benefits of having the air con on. All I have to say is ....Choose another hotel.

From making the reservation it all seems great, until you check in. The front door is piled with leaves, great welcome. I thought the place was closed down. On entry into room, lights were off so no welcome experience when arriving on night fall. Found the light switch, be that it was cracked and took some effort to switch on. Toilet seat was broken, after 4 nights stay and being reported, still not fixed. Bathroom sink spout was loose and dangling in basin. My hubby simply reached under sink and tightened with his own hands and fixed. Shower recess does not have a soap dish or anything to put your showering products on, the floor it was. Walks marked, chipped and in need of minor repairs. Kitchen is quaint. Microwave has remains of a prior guests food within it. Every plate, bowl and coffee cup was soiled with food remains. No COVID clean at all. The trash bin is 2.1lts in size. So don’t think about putting trash in it. A golden circle juice bottle is bigger. Dining chairs are well used and not vacuumed or cleaned. Otherwise housekeepers would of found the $50 note in one of the chairs and the opened condom wrapper in the other chair. One chair has springs popped out on bottom and nearly touching the carpet. Oh the carpet, yes nice dark colour, put a real vacuum cleaner has touched it properly in a while. Moved the lounge chair and found an Easter egg. Not sure if it was cavity range from 2018 or 2021? Bedside lights gloves were both blown. Reported but nothing happened nor was rectified during our stay. Nice touch with complimentary water in fridge. But tacky that water says Officeworks brand on it though. The mattress is described as a Queen bed, well it is two small singles pushed together and just horrendous to sleep on. With some love and attention this could be a great Apartment Hotel, but gather manager doesn’t have control as the service and cleanliness is letting this property down. Will we be back, probably not. Will the manger care about our review, probably not. Will the housekeepers have cleaned our room correctly after we had left, probably not. Will others wish to stay after reading our review, no idea. We suggest the manager stays in every room overnight and experience what we paying guests have to endure.

This hotel is not a boutique hotel. The cleaning service is dreadful, daily services are not completed. Guests arrive back at the hotel to find dirty towels, full rubbish bins and a dirty elevator. Phots show this claim is valid. Very apologetic reception staff who did their best. Management didn’t care. Messages were ignored and only responded to, after an eight day stay was completed. Saturday saw guest rooms not cleaned and ready for 2pm check ins. The city view does not exist. Walls or a work site / house is all that you see.

We originally wanted to book at another hotel right in the middle of Northbridge however due to Black Friday sales it was booked out. Luckily we found the Attika Hotel! We recently stayed at the Pan Pacific earlier this year and I can easily say that this boutique hotel has the family feel. First thing is to make sure you book a parking spot if you need one. (Small car is better!) Walked in and mentioned that I would like a late checkout due to celebration . No problem she said. How is 12noon? Music to my ears! We ubered into town and then walked our way through the city and easily walked back from a evening in Northbridge. You have a french patisserie on the doorstep for breakfast or Little Bird Cafe or even Yefsi the hotel restaurant. Beautiful. Good blockout blinds as the sun is quite bright on the window. Spacious executive room with seperate living and kitchen, bedroom and bathroom/laundry. The only thing missing is a pool! We will certainly be back and won’t hesitate to recommend!

We booked the executive one bedroom apartment for a 3 night stay Unfortunately we found it very noisy on Newcastle street so if you are worried about noise this isn’t for you. However it is nice to be right in the city so we weren’t too worried about the noise. For the following reasons I found the hotel to be 3 star at best ... mouldy bread left in the cupboard, residue that looked like vomit on the bathroom door, mark on bed linen, bathroom tap handle fell off, no offer to help bring bags to the room at check in so I made multiple trips to and from reception (one person checking in with multiple bags, you normally find someone will offer help!), for a 3 night stay housekeeping came once to drop off new towels and asked us to bring the rubbish to the door for them, both TV remotes didn’t work. It’s the little things that make a hotel luxury 4/5 star and this hotel unfortunately did not have them.

The hotel is nice. The tap in the bathroom is wobby. The hotel is in the heart of Northbridge close to cafes, food outlet and entertainment district. The unit we stayed had windows looking straight at another wall. Not much natural light.

This hotel has self contained rooms. It is lovely & clean, nicely decorated & very convenient to getting around. There is charge parking available. We found the staff here excellent. Anything that they can assist you they do so pleasantly. Our only issue is with the noise from a nearby dance club on Friday, Saturday & Sunday night until around 1am. I am not sure if you can hear the loud music (with heavy base) from every room but it has keept me awake the nights it is on. The hotel is situated in semi redesantial area, so I am not sure why they are allowd to operate well after midnight,. Our stay in Perth was memorable & Attika Hotel a delight.
