We stayed here twice (at the beginning and end of our stay in Western Australia) and it provided us with all that we needed. We wanted self-catering and the clothes washer & drier in the bathroom was perfect. We had a corner balcony and was really nice to be able to sit there in the mornings and evenings - taking in the sights of a city after so much rural touring. No problem with noise from the Metro bar and we had a good meal there one of the evenings. Staff were very friendly and helpful with information for getting around in Perth.

Hotel's Favourite
Room very good, serve a bit slow, location good and close to Elizabeth Quay. Front desk was good but there seemed to be a communication problem between them and housekeeping…twice I asked for more tea and once they forgot me and the second time it took 4 hours.

Easy walk to CBD and Elizabeth Quay. Comfortable but dated rooms. Handy to have kitchen and laundry. However, if you don't like music till whatever hour the staff in the Metro Bar on the Ground Floor feel like turning it off, and shouting drinkers, make sure you are not above the bar/bistro and/or on the same side. The opening hours are stated on the in house menu, but the music and shouting went on for long after this. The outside music was still on at 1.30 am one night. A couldn't care less attitude towards a hotel full of paying guests by the Metro Bar staff. If they feel like an after hours gathering with music, in my experience they will do it, irrespective of who it disturbs. Bad attitude, needs a culture change.

Pro's - the room facilities were good and we enjoyed the extra space of a studio style room with a kitchen, balcony, laundry facility and separate bedroom. We could just walk across from the convention center which was super handy. Staff were generally friendly and the hotel was clean and fresh smelling. Con's - our air-conditioning was broken for the entirety of our stay and there wasn't a maintenance person available to come and fix. Only one lift working and it was a tad cantankerous. Beware of a bond fee ($100AUD per night) charged up front on top of your fee for the room, and it can take days to be refunded.

Treated like a bad guest from the get go, was rudely greeted at check-in, told not to smoke in my room or I'd get a fine and not to throw any parties! Off to a good start! Good points, Bed was comfy and room was dark and quiet, fridge was large and working, had a washer and dryer. There was a bottle of wine and a chocolate bar for me upon arrival. Bad points, it is tired and needs a refurb, it was very expensive $3K for 6 nights. TV's were old and scratched, has warnings about being fined for setting off the smoke alarm, so another guest had wrapped the smoke alarm up! I only realized towards the end of my stay, so while I was there I had no functioning smoke detector! Staff were coming in each day and didn't notice either. There was a charge for washing powder? There was no bottle opener in the room, and when i requested one they said they'd bring one up, which they did not on the first occasion a couple of days later I thought I'd ask again and got lucky that time.…

Not a lot was good. On 2 different days, We did not recieve room service and was left with full bins and un made up beds to sleep in. The bed caused us multiple back pain issues. Don’t know why the bed is 2 single beds just zipped together. There is more comfier sleeping on floor, Lots and lots of dust in shower air vents. TV was from the 19 century. Both elevators not working on last day. No explanation of how to use staircase or where it is? They didn’t give room service cleaning on 2 didn’t days. They tried to charge me for parking with them when I didn’t use them at all? Like who wants to pay $30 a day for parking?? Not to mention you are not guaranteed a spot either. With only 40 parking bay spots. Chances are you will have to pay for nothing. Just an utter mess. Their websites are a lie.…

We booked this hotel for its location and proximity to conference centre. There was a leak in our room, which they didnt fix despite several reminders, there were issues with check in and we had to ask multiple times to have the room cleaned and towels replaced. Beds were hard also causing pain in lower back.

Our stay at the Adina was very enjoyable - our room was exceptionally large with all the facilities we needed. The balcony was very welcoming that overlooked the Convention Centre next door and we found the location central to everything we needed. A great stay and we look forward to visiting again.

Every thing is spacious, clean and friendly service. The appt's are within easy walking distance to the Train, bus and quay side entertainment areas. Walk across the covered walkway to all the amenities plus the heart of the Perth shopping malls. Just Great

Location is good for Elizabeth Quay & city centre. Close to public transport. Staff very helpful there was no can opener. One was delivered to our door within minutes. The bed wasn’t very comfortable a bit hard, a bit disappointed because when we stayed at Adina Brisbane the beds were extremely comfortable.
