Quiet, cosy, a place to call your temporary home. Rooms are decent size and cater to your every need. Lodge, bathrooms and communal areas are cleaned everyday by the gorgeous housekeepers. The only downside is that the front of house of staff are really attractive and that can be a distraction when your in a rush, especially that Italian fella. Big love.

I stayed here for a couple of nights and I initially thought it was ok. I was told by the staff member checking me in that I could park my motorcycle out the back and that there were parks available. I moved my motorbike around to the back and parked in an empty space. The following afternoon I received a phone call from the manager asking me to move my bike as I had not reserved that spot. I explained the situation and told her that I was told I could park there. I was told to move it and I could park it in the street as there were no parks available. Her communication skills were lacking and I was annoyed when I walked out to find my bike had an official note on it stating that it would be towed at my expense if it wasn’t moved. A private double room did not include towels and I was forced to hire one for $4. The room was very basic and the atmosphere of the place was poor. It certainly wasn’t welcoming. The shared bathrooms were dirty and one of the showers in the men’s bathroom gave a trickle of water. It was unusable. I moved on to Fremantle where everything is much nicer.
