Stayed at the New Esplanade Hotel in Perth and I must say it was a major disappointment. Definitely not new. The carpets are run down, stained, looking old and dusty, the mattress in my room had seen much better days - you could feel the springs through it. The room was clean and the location is ok but really. NEVER...

Beds are super lumpy and uncomfortable! Bathroom is so dated! Terrible sleep! Great location but disappointing when we're new to Perth and the staff cant tell you simple tips like getting to and from the airport or where to eat/shop. Wouldn't stay again

I wasn't sure what to expect but so far not too bad. $119 per night and you get what you pay for. The hotel is quite dated with old furniture and fittings. The staff are friendly but are unsure how to deal with anything out of the ordinary. The room is clean and tidy with a double and a single...

We overnighted last week as we needed to be in the city but would not stay again. Parking is available and the hotel is right opposite Elizabeth Quay but the staff could not assist in finding a coffee shop in the evening and did not seem at all interested in helping us. The rooms are very average. This hotel is...

Beds were hard and obviously old. Very budget. Doors didn't lock so we had to hide our personal items. Cheap and nasty. would pay a small sum for a much better room just down the road. Had to park at convention centre because no parking available.

We have never stayed anywhere so bad and we have camped, caravaned and always made sure everything was clean and comfortable. THIS WAS NOT. The photos of the hotel website are very misleading. The reception area is very sad and the greeting was even sadder. The room was in desperate need of cleaning, dust and grime on door, skirting and...

This is our 3rd time here and probably our last. The rooms are getting tired and need a revamp. The carpet in the hallway is worn. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Staff were great. We didn't opt for the breakfast instead we went out as there are many cafe's within walking distance. The best thing about this...

In fairness the room was a bit tired and has seen better days, however the sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable enough (never as good as home), towels were clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. For the price I doubt you could get anything in such a superb location. The room was cleaned each day and to...

Room was sparse, old, but generally clean except for the windows. The view would have been spectacular had I been able to see through the windows, they were filthy. The mini bar was meagre, dusty and the peanuts I did eat were out of date. Breakfast tho included in the compendium was not available. On arrival I was required to...

The hotel is located in a nice position but that's the best part! The building is old, the lights are dim, the paint dirty, the rooms dirty and old, the bed saggy and not comfortable etc... They charge enormous wifi fees and parking fees! THE PLACE IS A DUMP!
