Check in is earlier then normal 1pm But they can store your bags if you get in early until they check- in The room was big, clean and quiet. The a/c and frig were very quiet big plus...tons of extra pillows and blanks also in the room if you need them. And I'll add they have a pay washer and...

Check in was not friendly, room was not set up as it was meant to be and the blankets had cigarette holes and rips in them. Staff at the breakfast seemed like they would like to be anywhere else on a Saturday morning than working.

The hotel was quite nice with fantastic breakfast, fresh and a lot of different food. So for everybody something. The room was nice. At the beginning was smelling little bit strange. But after 1 days fine. For a short stay in the city perfect.

Room was very clean, comfy bed, staff were very nice. Would definitely stay at Miss Maud again when in Perth and needing accommodation. Breakfast in the restaurant was very busy although the food was fresh and ready.

We stayed on Australia Day. I knew it would be busy because of the Perth sky show (which was cancelled). The room was great and the service was very friendly. The next morning we went down for breakfast. As it was so busy (we're talking Christmas busy!) the hot food was struggling to keep up with demand and tables weren't...

Not my first time here, but as always, a very individual hotel, well run by people who are loyal to the brand. A quiet, convenient room, massive breakfasts included in the price, central location, staff unfailingly helpful, make this a stop on my Australia trips.

As always Miss Maud's greatest assets are the staff who consistently provide a level of service that puts much higher end hotels to shame. We can't mention all of them, but Edward who checked us in at 01.30am is a bastion of old school hospitality which is extremely rare to find in any other hotels today, as is Terese who...

Miss Maud Swedish Hotel is not a modern hotel however if you are looking for a homely and genuine Swedish Hotel this is the place for you. This hotel is ten minutes walk from the centre of the city. The best part about Miss Maud Swedish Hotel is that the delicious Smorgasbord Breakfast is included in the room price.

While Miss Maud's seems like a decent hotel and probably has some rooms that look like the ones on the published images I would still not book again since my room was definitely not as advertised. Instead of a floor to ceiling window my room barely had a window and certainly not one that I could have looked out of....

Front desk staff were helpful and generally friendly, and able to give local advice to complement the brochures available in the foyer. As the hotel is located within an old building, the rooms are accessed through winding corridors, with a lift to take you to your floor. Our standard double room was a good size, with a comfortable queen-sized bed....
