Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Generally, a comfortable stay. Staff very professional and helpful. There is room for improvement in communications. Not enough information left in room to answer guest questions on topic such as what numbers on the phone do I press to get certain services. There was no mention in any online presentation that they had room service. Only found out when I asked at check in. Food was a mixed bag. The breakfast was terrific worth the money paid. The evening dinner at Senses restaurant was too expensive for what you got. We had the two main course specials. Limited range of choose.

Hotel's Favourite
I booked this accommodation as I’m an Accor member and it was on an excellent deal. Upon arrival I was upgraded to a one bedroom apartment with a lovely view of the Swan River from both rooms. This made my week long stay extremely comfortable. On-site secure car parking was easy. Housekeeping were very attentive to my requests for more milk and coffee. Nothing was too difficult.

Classic Novotel but a bit old style... we were upgraded to a superior room which was nice The staff were excellent and always had a smile, especially in the breakfast dining which had a good choice but nolonger offering fresh cooked omellettes. We had pre-paid for breakfast but were charged again after checking out!! A quick email exchange sorted this and my card was refunded. There is a fitness area on the 11th floor which is small, but just about workable. It's a shortish walk to the main downtown area and handy for car rental companies and if you pre-pay there are some good deals which include the breakfast. Would use again... and have already booked for next year...

We booked the cheapest room for one night to use up a Scoopon credit that was expiring soon. We had a direct comparison as we had come for the Lord Forrest Hotel in Bunbury the previous night (never again!). Reception and check in here, friendly and professional. We asked to upgrade but this was not possible as the hotel was fully booked (the night of the Cold Play concert). Our room (817) was dated but spotlessly clean. City views from expansive windows (corner room) and we did not look directly into another building. The walls were thin, we did hear the people next door but this would be true of all hotels of this age. Shower over the bath, not ideal but having a bath in a hotel room these days is a pleasant novelty. If wanted a luxury night in Perth then we wouldn't book here, that'd be another visit to the Double Tree Hilton Waterfront. But if we wanted a clean and tidy hotel that isn't too tough on the budget for a night or two in Perth, we would stay here again. If you are looking for dogs in a hotel that states no pets, head for the aforementioned place in Bunbury. Ditto if you are looking to sleep on a mattress manufactured on 09/01/2020. Ditto pillows that are pilled with a collection of other client's hair clinging to the pills. And, if finding an insect in your salad and lipstick and goobies on your coffee cup when it arrives at your table inflames your passion then Novotel Langley is not the place. For clean, tidy and not a health hazard, Novotel Langley is better than just adequate.

We stayed with a Luxury Escapes package, and I would recommend any the hotel based on the Junior Suite plus breakfast which we used. The hotel is well placed to access all of Perth's attractions as it's in the Free Bus Zone and you can get the CAT buses from The Mint, a short walk away. The Junior Suite is comfortably large with a spa bathroom and walk in robe. It's not new, as the hotel is the re-badged Langley Hotel, so the rooms may be considered a bit dated and the bed is a little old-school, but that doesn't detract from the comfort and the views of the river are fantastic. The included breakfast option is standard but has a good range. There are more than enough food options around the site if you don't want to pay the premium at the Irish Pub attached.

On a recent trip to Perth we had problems with accommodation that had been booked on our behalf. In a distressed and emotional state we arrived at the Novotel Langley. On arrival, the staff were extremely compassionate and professional and were able to help us out at short notice. We ended up staying 5 nights and were very happy with all aspects of our stay, especially the staff in all areas of the motel. The onsite restaurant provided a great special option and the food and service were of a high standard. We would highly recommend staying at this motel.

Fairly basic but some cheery decor! Clean and functional - didn’t get to try the pub downstairs but the food looked excellent (hence the room service menu would be hard to beat I suspect!) Breakfast was fine -can’t go too wrong with a buffet breakfast. Quite an interesting vibe in the breakfast area (predominantly patronised by grey nomads) It was quite a contrast hearing Boards of Canada as background cafe music during breakfast! It’s looking a bit tired, and I could clearly hear other guests outside the room from the corridor. Overall a good little spot, but for those wanting a fancier updated version the other Novotel in Perth is probably your better option.
