Traveling couple who stayed for 4 nights. The hotel feels more like an apartment hotel for businessmen and long-term residents, Unfortunately, it didn't get off to a good start. Check in took 40 minutes and we were charged for an upgrade even though we are gold members on Expedia where this is included. Prons Centrally located hotel in Perth Walking distance to shops and local transport. Washing machine. Kitchen. Whirlpool bath Cons Soft bed. No breakfast is available. Poorly cleaned find long hairs in the toilet. The sofa not cleaned under the cushions. Very responsive between the rooms. Woke up to the neighbors ML. Not nice to have to listen to this. Lots of running in the corridor with women who don't seem to live in the hotel.

Dear 866kenta, Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us, we sincerely apologise that your stay did not meet your expectations. I apologise for the miscommunication about the complimentary upgrade, this is subject to availability on the day of arrival, the room type Studio Premier was not available, this is the complimentary upgrade category from the Studio Executive that you had booked, however our Night Manager did upgrade you to a higher category, the One Bedroom Deluxe, therefore a discounted upgrade fee was applied. I do sincerely apologise that your check in experience was delayed, as your check in was guaranteed from 2pm on 29th February, some admin was required to provide you an early check in at 2am on the 29th of February, however, we will provide further coaching to our Night Manager, to ensure we are providing efficient service at all times of the day. Thank you for your feedback about the rooms, and experiencing noise from neighbour rooms, whilst they are well suited towards our business travelers, I appreciate that there are some improvement areas that you have highlighted, which would be beneficial for us to review, feedback such as yours is appreciated, so that we can review upgrades in areas which are most important to our guests and help us to ensure we are providing a comfortable stay for our leisure travelers also. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and have discussed your review with our management team during our morning briefing, so that we can implement some improvements immediately and review other opportunities for further development. We do hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back, giving us the chance to demonstrate the usual high level of service that our team is proud of. Kind Regards, Sarah Brady

Stayed here as a couple for 4 nights. Had high expectations for this hotel considering the high price level. Well located hotel right in the center of Perth. Walking distance to most things. Kitchen and a washing machine. Less good check in experience on the night between 28 to 29 Feb at 2 am when a male receptionist took 45 minutes to arrange a room for us. We ended up getting room 802 which was supposed to be one of their best. However, we had to pay for the upgrade even though we have free upgrade as a bonus on our booking as Expedia gold members. The room is designed as an office. Very impersonal decor. Windows that are too high to see out and that could not be opened. The cleaning was inadequate as we found forgotten pens and sweets under the sofa cushions, as well as long hairs in the bathroom. The cleaning lady also entered the room even though we put a do not disturb sign on the door. Very responsive between the rooms. Woke up to the neighbors ML. Not nice to have to listen to this. Also experienced that several women who did not live at the hotel came to visit the different men who lived next door to us. Gave us a bad feeling. A less good experience at this hotel. Not recommended for tourists, only for business travelers. Missed TLC a lot.

Comfortable, clean, and great staff. The city views advertised were nothing to be excited about (it’s just a CBD) and there were no bells or whistles. A convenient place to stay but nothing special. We wished there was a breakfast option either there or nearby.

We had a week here and there are no major issues. The staff on reception are amazing, helpful and chatty, interested in what you have been up to and offer great advice. The room an 'executive studio' is obviously intended for people unfortunate enough to still have to work. There was one chair at a table and a sofa (maybe a sofa bed) that was quite uncomfortable to sit on. Bed was large and comfortable, and the kitchen area had all we needed. In the bathroom there was a fan, of the sort that does the whole building, so one could not turn it off, it was a bit noisy but we got used to it. Strangest thing are the lights over the bed, firstly the bulbs are a bit bright, but more bizarre is the way they work. The switch on the left side of the bed operates the light on the right, and vice versa, so if one of you goes to sleep and the other reads you have to get out of bed to turn the 'bright' light out of feel the wrath of the Mrs as you wake her up!!

Slighly tired complex just off the centre of town. Large bedroom with a big bed, unfortunately the duvet had a sheet each side of the duvet not a duvet cover, not very pleasant! Big single glaze none opening windows overlooking St Georges Terrace, which was noisy in the evenings through the week but ok on the weekend. Small bathroom with a large window between the bathroom and bedroom! Large shower with a high step into it, but good water pressure. Separate toilet, with a narrow doorway into it off the bathroom. Good size wardrobe, with safe. Air con worked, but is complicated. No parking, on street only Two lifts Lovely helpful staff

Great self-catering accommodation with friendly and professional front desk services. Rooms clean and relatively new with small compact kitchen with microwave and toaster as well as with kitchen amenities. On the sixth and second floor you can find free laundry services. Laundry is a small one washing machine and one dryer. So, plan in advance. Close to Elizabeth Quay and 10-15 minutes walk from the Perth station.

What I liked about Citadine? 1) Location is fantastic within walking distance to Kingspark, Northbridge and main shopping area in Perth CBD 2) Front reception were friendly and helpful- special thanks to Sabi, Tina and two trainees 3) Room is dated but spacious and comfortable What troubled me: 1) Credit card surcharge- I was not told about this during my time of check in and incurred a surcharge of $40 plus. It would have been helpful to tell me so that I could have decided on my mode of payent 2) Left over clothes from previous guest- Entered the room in my check in and there was a lady's coat and pants in the room- I brought this down and passed it to reception. This is Indicative that cleaning had not been thorough and noone had checked prior to my arria 3) WORSE experience/ Housekeeping- coming back to the room to find cleaning had not been done and when I told the reception, they did not have anyone to clean it as their cleaners are outsourced and told me that it could be only done the next day 2nd time this happened again- cleaner who came said she was only tasked to clear rubbish, not make the bed and change the sheets.I called reception to give the feedback and the cleaner came back flustered and troubled, continuously apologising saying that she had been told off and prior to the reception telling her, she had only been told to change the dustbin. This put me in an uncomfortable spot as i had to manage the cleaner and tell her that I did not blame her for mismanagement 4)Other minor points-laundry not opened on time due to lack of man power (despite our call to reception to confirm the timing, they said they were shortstaffed) + the sheet with QR code in the room showed different opening hours for the gym as opposed to the timing at the reception and the insistence by staff to confirm that I would go to the gym soon, after taking a coupon for it I have been given assurances by the GM that point 3 of my feedback has been addressed and I hope it has

For us this was a reasonable luxurious hotel, as we normally stay more budget, but I think price wise this was a good choice for us. We needed car parking and also we needed a hotel were we could leave our luggage as we went on a cruise. Both things were possible. The rooms were very convenient. The hotel's location is perfect. Best thing, the very friendly and helpful staff. We had a problem with the sink. It was during the weekend and no technical staff, but reception staff tried to fix it. Also followed up the next day. Overall a very comfortable stay. We stayed 5 nights in total. I would go back

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights on my own and had an “upgrade” from a studio room to an executive studio. The photos of the room on the internet were very different to what I got! The photo on the internet shows the rooms having large windows with lots of light… this is not the case! The window was a narrow one in the corner of the room and the view outside was literally the other rooms in the hotel with the same view. The room was dark and to be honest, quite depressing being on your own! All I can say is I’m glad I booked early and didn’t pay the price they were wanting as my trip got closer. Oh and the photos on the internet show a restaurant that looks to be downstairs of the hotel… this is closed. The positives were that the staff were very friendly, and the location is very central. A short walk from the mall and shopping areas, restaurants close by, and Elizabeth Quay about a 10 min walk away. A good hotel if you literally plan to just sleep and shower in your room, but I personally wouldn’t choose this again for the lack of light and dismal feel. The positives
