Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

I’ve now spent almost 20 nights in this hotel over a number of business trips: - Location is excellent, very central to everything including food options, CBD and transport - I agree with the comments to keep to the sides and rear of the hotel as I’ve stayed at the front and been disturbed by the nightclub opposite - Staff are friendly and try to assist in making your stay enjoyable - Rooms are clean and modern, although I miss having a window you can open

Excellent staff, helpful and welcoming. Contemporary hotel, great breakfast buffet and bright clean room. Our room had a safe, a large flat screen TV, but only a single chair at the small occasional table and no drinks in the minibar. We had a large shower cubicle, but many of the shower jets were blocked with calcium buildup

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel, paid the staff to Valet Park my car for the night. After returning the car to me the next morning my car had considerable damage done to the rear which no staff member told us about. I enquired with the manager the next day who called and said sorry...but couldn't give me any details of what happened but agreed to pay the repairs (which was fair enough of them) 4 months later and I'm still awaiting payment for their mistake!!! (SHOCKING communication from them)

My sister and I stayed here on a Luxury Ecapes package. The hotel was exellent. From check-in staff, to the breakfast servers to the cleaning staff, all were very pleasant. The position of the hotel makes for easy walking into town. We will stay again.

A couple of minutes from the train station and with all amenities close at hand in a central downtown area, the location is ideal. The rooms are of good quality, our room was just about big enough for 4. The pool was cold, but an option. A nice touch to have chilled water at the side of the bar, especially in Summer. Breakfast was good although there was some confusion over our breakfast booking (through the hotel’s own website as ‘special offer’). Fortunately I’d taken a screenshot of the checkout page. At £220 for the night, reasonable value.

The novatel perth is a clean, modern hotel. The facilities are great. The bar and restaurant are good. The pool whilst looks great it is very difficult to get into as it doesnt have steps or railings for older people to get into. Just a climb down or up ladder. That was disappointing. We booked the twin room but found the beds very small. They felt more like a king single. Most hotels we have stayed at have much bigger beds. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms cleaned daily except for one day where after returning from our day trip found our room not cleaned. It took 3 attempts at reception to get it cleaned. That was a little disappointing. Location very good and free cat bus and taxis just outside hotel make it easy to get around.

Dear Iro214, Thank you for sharing your experience on your recent stay at Novotel Perth Murray Street. We appreciate your positive feedback, highlighting the hotel's cleanliness, modern amenities, and the quality of the bar and restaurant. The central location and the convenience of free cat buses and taxis nearby added to the overall positive aspects of your experience. However, we acknowledge and apologise for the challenges you encountered during your stay. We understand that the pool's accessibility was a concern, and we appreciate your feedback on the perceived size of the twin beds. Please be assured that we will consider these points for future improvements. Moreover, we sincerely apologise for the oversight in room cleaning and any inconvenience it may have caused. Good location hotel, right in the middle of the CBD and close walking distance to restaurants, shops and the river. The hotel staff were friendly and the amenities were clean. The bed was comfortable and the room was a reasonable size, not huge but not tiny. Good sized bathroom. The pool was heated and the gym facilities good for a hotel gym.

The Hotel Location and the staff were brilliant. The room was up to the Novotel Standard and all the amenities in the room were perfect. The mattress topper and pillows were sensational. The walls are very thin, and I recommend you ask for a room at the “back end” of the hotel, away from Murray Street. Although the hotel cannot control its neighbours, the “doof doof” from the nightclub directly across the road went until 4am. The room next to mine had a baby crying most of the night, which (through the walls) I could hear also. Needless to say, I only had interrupted sleep. Again, the Hotel and staff were great and efficient, but if only I could have enjoyed the pillows and mattress topper a little bit more.

We got a 2 nights deal from Luxury Escapes that came with breakfast daily and complimentary drinks vouchers daily. 2 double beds room are small and the double beds seemed smaller than usual. Customer service was better than The Adnate. If you are a Accor member you can check in early. Breakfast just so so but have a nespresso coffee machine Pro: Gym is quite good size, pool is slightly bigger than The Adnate Con: Rooms are small, aircon just functional, may not be cold on a super humid day, no coffee machine in room, just a kettle, no bottle of water but do have a filling station in the lobby bar if you bring your own bottle

Arrived at the hotel and saw the sign to do valet parking. Word of advise, park in the l Alley way and go to reception. They will sort it out once checked in. One of the reasons why we chose this hotel was the pool bar on level 12. The picture on the website is though dated and the bar isn’t open anymore. You have to go downstairs for your drinks and take them back upstairs if you want to drink by the pool. Rooms are well fitted out and food at the bar wasn’t too bad. Not too sure about the potato fritters though. More like a Samos. Overall not bad. Pity about the pool bar.
