Detailed Reviews
Just moved to WA, this was my base for first few days and i was comfortable and felt safe. Enjoyed my room looking over the park, yes the rooms are small but honestly had everything i needed.
Rooms have character like you can hear the water in the pipes but thats just the building, staff are attentive and it has a very cool vibe.
I ordered room service once after a long day and it came in a takeout paper bag which i thought was a neat idea; reasonably priced and super yummy!
Nespresso machines in the room so it’s not crappy percolated coffee, lil mini fridge was decent size i could stand 1.5 littles of Fiji water in it.
I was there for 4 nights and housekeeping was super friendly giving me what i needed to be comfy. Enjoyed location @ night i would just uber to places and it was so easy. I would recommend a drop box for keys in car park so when people drive away you get your keys back.
Its one of the nicer budget friendly Accor properties I’ve stayed in Australia, will deffo be back when im in the city. Thank you

We booked Tribe purely on its location and access to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, as I was booked in for tests. Due to my disability and frailty, we were allocated an accessibility room on the 7th floor.
While the rooms overall are a bit small, they are generously equipped with tea and coffee making facilities and a lovely large tv.
The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were lovely and firm. The view was impressive, and the choice of shade blind for daytime or blockout for nighttime was very useful.
The bathroom was very well thought out, with safety grab handles everywhere you might need one. The folding seat in the shower is very useful too.
The staff are very friendly and super helpful, and couldn’t do enough for us.
The rooms may be smallish, but the downstairs foyer area is designed like a massive lounge, with plenty of comfortable seating and nice background music. There are also areas with tables, lots of power points and USB charging points so that the business person on the road has somewhere to finish the day’s paperwork.
In summary, we came looking for a hotel handy to SCGH, but I thing we have found a base whenever we come to Perth. It’s a lovely, homely hotel.

I stay with TRIBE about 2-4 weeks of the year for work, and usually love it.
Positives:
- super friendly and helpful staff
- great lobby and rooms
- great meals
- always get my favourite rooms on top floor facing the park
This time though, things were a little less than impressive:
- No jugs near water station and no water in room - if there's no water in the room for free, there needs to be lots of jug
- No free drink voucher (not advised it's on the app till leaving) and no fine chocolate/wine, just small bag of cheap M&Ms
- Not many tea options in the room
- Wifi not connecting in the room
All the little touches seem to be disappearing to reduce costs and it shows.

Good location if a tad out of the way but not a massive bother. Only stayed for one night and the staff were lovely but the room was small, smelt like damp and the air con constantly sounded like it was leaking. Quite a bit of dust and bathroom shower needed a really deep clean/scrub which if I was staying for longer, would have been more of a problem. But, the bed was super comfortable, the lobby is really lovely and the staff made it bearable.

Relatively new hotel within walking distance of Perth and adjacent to Kings Park.
The contemporary fitted rooms are quite compact but are well suited to solo business travellers.
They have a limited number of secure car bays, available after 2:00PM, if not already taken.
We received an email confirming our booking and stating that breakfast was included. When having breakfast I ordered an Eggs Benedict and was told that the "included" breakfast was only for the limited "Continental" breakfast. We paid for the eggs benedict.

I stayed three nights at Tribe West Perth and had a great experience of hospitality. While the rooms are compact, for one person the space is sufficient, especially when you take account of storage under the bed. I loved the lobby lounge area with a mix of work spaces relaxation areas. Location opposite Kings Park is great for lovely walks, and public transport into the city is easy and free with the Purple Cat stop just up the road. I'd stay again, as a single, but for two people, the room space is probably a bit tight.

It is nice to stay somewhere different in Perth and different it was. It is a modern funky arty boutique hotel and not too big at 8 floors. Our room was small and container size but apparently not a former container, just imported and built from prefabricated modules. Our room had a full picture window overlooking the beautiful trees over Kings Park, lovely to wake up to. You can overlook the building next door below. The room was clean and serviced daily. The room is small with a small bathroom but totally adequate. You can store your suitcase under the bed. We took a few days to get the aircon right but appreciated it in the hot Perth climate. The hotel is a member of Accor with their benefits. We had the basic continental breakfast of cereals and toast/ bagels and fruit. You can also make toasted sandwiches. There is not a restaurant as such. A barrista coffee is extra. We had mocktails one evening and the bartender really knew how to make a great one -hats off to him! The reception and eating areas are funky and pleasant with modern art books to browse while eating breakfast. It is well-lit and has an outside area as well. The patterns throughout the hotel are also arty but you wouldn't want to have a headache, the lifts are completely mirrored. The reception and waitstaff are very helpful and friendly -nothing is too much trouble. Parking is limited but we always managed to get one of the undercover ones for our rental vehicle. I would recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

Checked in late after 11pm on flight from Melbourne, the room very claustrophobic tbh asked for another room and was told they are all the same which I found very hard to believe
Being an Accor member I expected better. Room service food wasn't much to choose from either! Other than nice decor downstairs that was pretty it!!

The bed was a bit high for me but very comfortable once I was on it. The service was exemplary. As soon as I raised a concern that the shower drain was not flowing fast enough the problem was fixed by the time I returned to the hotel.
I was hardly at the hotel during my stay but when I was there it was just perfect for my stay and met all my needs while I was there.

The worst hotel experience ever! I stayed for 3 nites and at time of checkin, I was told an extra $50 bond will be charged to my card on top of the rates for the 3 nights. The bond of $50 will be refunded at the end of the stay. At time of checkout I was told the $50 bond will be refunded within 3-4 days. When I checked my credit card statement for the refund, I was shocked to find a second charge for the same 3 days plus an additional amount of $5. I wrote to the hotel to enquire about the refund of the bond that never came and why a second charge plus additional fee of $5. The response I got was that I should see my first charge erase after 10 days by the bank. And the additional $5 on the second charge is bank charges.
I have never been to any hotel that charges a guest twice - at time of check in and again a second charge for the same stay on day of check out.
As for the hotel, the room was tiny and no frills to start with. On my last night, when I came back my room was like a sauna. There was no technician on site to fix the temperature in the room. So they move me to another one which was freezing cold. The thermostat in both rooms didn’t work. I had to go downstairs personally to get help for the freezing cold temperature in the room as there was no telephone in the second room. I was given a small portable heater which I am grateful. As for the absent of telephone- nothing was done.

not in the building. they do have an arrangement with a nearby gym (which I think) you have to pay for
Not as good as the other rooms as you are lower down.
Hi Maztravller,
Guests have access to NextGen - Perth's premium Gym located in Kings Park (500m from the hotel). Each visit costs $20 and you need to pay NextGen direct.
Secure onsite parking is $30 per night, as we only have a limited number of spaces, this needs to be booked along with your room.
Hi - breakfast is $21. Thanks!
