Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I had a nice, comfortable room, but the rooms some others stayed in were not as nice. Perhaps they were in a standard room and mine was 'deluxe', I'm not sure. Bed was comfortable, there is a laundry if you need it, continental breakfast was ncluded. Staff were friendly. It's not close to any of the attractions, but the bus stops just outside every 30 minutes and takes you to all the main places in Broome, and if you're still out after the bus stops, Broome isn't very big so a taxi ride home works out pretty cheap. Only 1 bus stop or 10 min walk to the Boulevarde Shopping Centre which is handy.

I booked two rooms in December 2021 for our stay in June 2022. Instead of the rooms being together they were at complete opposite ends of the property. This was very disappointing since both booked under same name and six months in advance. Rooms were a good size. With covid still around, they need to have some supervision in the breakfast room area to keep people orderly and stop young children touching all the plates.

Except for an initial problem with the airport transfer, which we had paid for, this stay was all that could be expected for a very reasonable price.. Our charge for the transfer was eventually refunded. The room was on the ground floor (good for us oldies) and away from any noise. The grounds and pool were very well looked after. Staff at reception helped with microwaveable dinners as we were late arriving and very tired. Breakfast was included, choices available and pancake maker lovely. Bit dated in places but good potential and overall a satisfactory stay.

I’ve got to say after reading mixed reviews I was worried.
But our stay has been absolutely lovely . Obviously under new management everything is fresh- new paint new tiles and vanities in the bathroom and the room is spotless. Self catering with the basics at hand . A nifty little shop of snacks and basics for toiletries cleaning stuff even down to charging cables. They have thought of everything a traveller needs .
We didn’t have a car and they were so helpful with airport pick up and drop offs (a small charge applies)
It’s not walking distance to town and it’s really hot in Broome do not advisable . BUT the hop on hop off bus is right at the front doorstep . A small fee gets you around the whole town.
Broome time also does a drop off pick up restaurant run from 6-8pm
There’s a Basic complimentary breakfast room 7-9 with a really cool electric pancake machine !
All in all there’s been a lot of love put into this place - the gardens are beautiful and the pool area spotless. It’s a really nice place to stay! If we ever came back to Broome we wouldn’t hesitate to book here!

Desk at the airport was unattended, so even though transfer had been arranged and paid for, we still had to phone for a transfer.

No wifi in rooms, although this is advertised. When the receptionist was questioned about this, she just said "sometimes we have wifi problems" but no attempt seemed to be made to fix it.

Rooms not serviced every day.

Breakfast room is terrible - it is all hard surfaces with nothing to absorb noise so the volume is very loud. Basic continental breakfast with cerisl, toast and coffee.

It's too far from both Cable Beach and Broome central to walk; the town bus is unreliable and the Resort shuttle bus is limited and expensive.

Check in was a nightmare. 42 people on a coach had to produce photo ID to check in. Took over an hour. During our 2 day stay we found staff unfriendly, rooms dated, pillows should have been discarded 5 years ago. We had to remove rubbish & wash & dry our own dishes or pay an extra cleaning fee.

We booked our Broome holiday last minute ,so our options were limited ,We thought we could make use of the BBQ in the garden with all the fish my hubby was going to catch, needless to say we didn’t .The gardens are well established as the hotel was built in the 80 s . The rooms have been recently revamped .Nice new bathroom and cabinets and very comfy bed ,and a safe ,the rooms just needed to finish it off ……no bed side tables ,only one pillow each and no hangers in the wardrobe .A wardrobe with no doors and no hangers ,is just a wooden box and waste of space .The lighting is strip lights very 80s .
The pictures on the website showed art work on the walls in the rooms ,the only thing hanging on the walls in our room was the chocking hazard of electrical cables hanging down from the tv .
The path to the rooms runs around the complex directly outside your room ,this path is the original brick paving ,it’s dirty and uneven and a tripping hazard in the dark .
The hotel is half way between the town and the beach ,so we bused it about on the brilliant tourist bus the stop directly outside the hotel .
The included breakfast was ok ,enough to fill the gap in the morning ,to call it a continental breakfast is a stretch .but there a wide selection of breakfast cereal, yoghurt and toast ,there was cheese and biscuits and we had mini muffins for 2 of the 5 days we were there .
To call Broome time Resort a resort is a stretch , for the same price you can get a nicer room in town or even by the beach .

Well we were looking for a nice stay for my friends birthday.
The pictures are photo shopped.
The reception staff raise there eye brows when someone either wanted to check in or check out.
We were thrown our key card and pointed where to go.
What a filthy place, mould around and the bathrooms.
There rules told people to give up smokimg if you were a smoker. Who mentions that in there gusset book in the room?
Everyone is told no music and not to play Britney Spears!,,,, . Who runs this place?
The breakfast is like a mess hall on a army camp.

The worse experience from checking in to our scooter moved and we we abused not knowing we parked in a wrong spot for 2 mins while I grabed our bags.

The staff are rude, disrespectful and please do not stay here it's a camp with no fun or excitement as everyone is sent to bed with no supper if you ask a question.

Bathroom outdated
Bed Cover dirty and dusty
Marks on the sheets
Dishes were dusty.
Aircon needs filter cleaned is stinks.

The do not deserved to have the name Broome Resort

More like Broome Army Camp with a Mess-hall for the 2 hour breakfast time limit.

Don't belive what's in the photos.
Rude staff

The complex is an old style one, but has had a spruce up. Our room was clean and comfortable. It had a two door fridge freezer, microwave and a portable electric hot plate in the kitchen cupboards.

Parking is unsecured and in the open, WiFi is available, as is breakfast. There isn't a restaurant or bar, but crockery, cutlery, pots and pans are provided.

If staying here, I recommend getting a room as far as possible away from the road as from around 5:00 AM many dogs, possibly from a nearby pound? Start barking, then there's a lot of road and aircraft traffic followed by those travellers leaving early.

I had an absolutely terrible experience at Broome Time Resort and would never recommend it to anyone. From the moment I arrived, I was bombarded with an attempt to cross-sell flights to Singapore before I was even given the keys to my room! It was tacky and unprofessional.

Once I finally got to the room, it was an absolute disaster. Bugs and ants were everywhere, making it impossible to relax. The resort claimed they would service the room during my stay, but that never happened. There was no notice, no explanation, just negligence.

The overall vibe of the place is low-class and rundown. If Broome Time Resort were the only available accommodation in Broome, I would genuinely rather sleep in a tent. At least then I’d know what to expect. This is the kind of place where, if you knew ahead of time how bad it would be, you'd stay far away.

Bottom line: Avoid Broome Time Resort at all costs. I wouldn’t wish a stay here on anyone.
