This resort is in a great location, 200m from the cable beautiful beach, it is a great location for watching the sunset and stars at night, bus stop is also close by. The swimming pool (we only used the adult pool) was good and plenty of shades, I found the water refreshing. The general atmosphere in the resort is welcoming with plenty of Asians status to look out. It was nice that the resort has a shuttle from and to the airport, the driver was friendly, he took our bags in and out when we checked in & out. I had the best seafood meal at the sunset bar and best view ever! The staff at the restaurant were friendly.
Although, most of their staff were friendly, I had a bad experience with one of the front desk staff, when didn't clean our room on the day and didn't give us any toilet roll the day prior to that, i mentioned this to the lady at the front desk she literally put the phone down whilst I was still on the phone after saying the resort is really busy. Saying that, we went down and had a chat with another guy, and they did send someone to clean our room straightaway. Like any hotel I have been to, they don’t provide complimentary bottles of water, when we asked, they asked us to purchase hem for $1 per bottle which is not too bad.
The other good thing about the resort is the fact that they give you access to the facilities after checking out @ 10.

Hi Titilayo O, I am so glad you had a wonderful time utilising the Resort's facilities and restaurants. It is disappointing to hear of the experience you had over the phone and please be assured we pass all feedback on to the relevant team members. I am very happy to also hear the matter was resolved. Stayed in a pearlers bungalow for 8 nights. Bungalow itself fantastic - spacious and well appointed. Plenty of ceiling fans and airconditioning which are needed if you travel in December/January. Staff at the resort were all pleasant and helpful. There are 2 pools at the resort, 1 for adults only, however there is no shade in that pool. The family pool has a big shade sail over the top but you do have to put up with kids jumping all over you. There are a number of restaurants in the resort itself but unfortunately opening hours appear to have been scaled back, probably because of COVID/staffing. Prices at the bars are a little on the expensive side, but divers tavern is a 5 minute walk from the resort and there is a bottle shop there. Sitting and taking in a sunset at the sunset bar is an absolute must and we also booked for dinner one night and found the food was excellent.
Check out time is 10AM however the resort will issue you with a card so you can still use the resort facilities after check out. We had a flight late in the day and found this invaluable. You can also book 30 minutes in a change room which has a large dressing room, toilet and double shower so you can freshen up before you leave.

Hi @Matnshaz Thank you so much for your wonderful review of the Resort and we are so pleased you had a fantastic time. As you noted, during the summer months the Resort restaurants operate differently due to occupancy but I'm very happy you enjoyed your dining experience at Sunset Bar & Grill. We look forward to hosting you again in the future. Kind regards Stuart Kentish Resort General Manager

My husband and I are currently staying at Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa. The location of this resort is beautiful. With an amazing view out over the Indian Ocean.

Our room is perfect, situated on ground level, opening up to give direct access to the adults only pool area. This area is very relaxing, with food and drink available which we have sampled plenty of (it also gets the thumbs up) and plenty of lounges to laze on.

The food at Sunset Bar and Grill is top notch. We dined in the restaurant our first night here and we’re very impressed with the quality of the food. This is the best place to be to watch the beautiful sunset and also see the camels return from their beach trek.

Chayhoya Spa delivered a pretty amazing couples hot stone massage. 90 minutes of relaxation was the perfect way to spend a morning after a buffet breakfast.

We are here in the low season with the two other resort restaurants closed and not due to open until after our departure which we were unaware of until arriving but that hasn’t hindered our stay.

Everyone we have come across since arriving have been so friendly and helpful. From the staff at the resort, the locals at the pub in town to the taxi drivers. They all seem relaxed and happy to see you.

This place has always been on the bucket list to visit and I am glad we made the effort to come. The flight offerings can be a deterrent to some who wish to visit but this resort and Broome itself is worth every effort in getting here.

Dear mytraveltopia, Thank you for your kind words, it sounds like you enjoyed your visit to Broome and your time at the Resort. I agree completely, Sunset Bar & Grill is definitely the best place to enjoy the sunset at Cable Beach - definitely an experience not to be missed whilst up in Broome. I am glad you enjoyed your couples massage and were able to experience all the amazing things Broome and the Resort has to offer. We hope to welcome you back very soon. Booked through Luxury Escapes Voucher for 4 nights. Arrived one day late to check-in due to miscommunication, was not contacted by hotel to check whereabouts. Was greeted by helpful reception staff, and champagne. Staff did honour voucher inclusions ie. drink vouchers x8. Difficult to park to check in as not much space for car at reception. Secure parking was good, but the closest car park was still quite a walk from our room, especially in the Broome heat with a lot of luggage as we were on 6 week road trip and no assistance offered for luggage. Car park filled up quickly, and we were left with spaces even further away at times. Room was adequate, exhaust fan in bathroom very loud, ironing board broken (replaced upon request), no complimentary water in fridge, unlike other cheaper hotels. Good television, nice private balcony, good quality toiletries, otherwise unremarkable room. Breakfast was tasty, with good options. Beautiful to sit out overlooking the sunset at the sunset bar. Ocean pool nice, but food only served until 4pm, drinks only until 5:30pm despite plenty of guests still at the pool at 5:30. Advised to utilize sunset bar after this time. Unfortunately, not all restaurants open due to Covid/ off season. Good cocktail menu and quality, different menus at each bar. The resort was well staffed, and maintained, however seemed to be lacking the luxury resort feel we were expecting, especially for the price. Unfortunately it falls short in some areas and did not quite live up to expectations. Overall, unremarkable stay, nothing special.

Hi @Phoebeh30 Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay. I am pleased to hear you enjoyed the breakfast, location of the Resort, and our wonderful staff. Due to the time of year (summer season), some of our restaurants are not operational and the weather can be very warm which you experienced. As the Resort is set on 26 acres of gardens with our accommodation spread throughout, some of our rooms are not located within close proximity to the carparks. The vast nature of the property is considered one of our most well-liked features, however, I apologise that you were not offered assistance with your luggage. I do hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay with us and your six-week road trip, and we hope to welcome you back in the future. Kind regards Stuart Kentish Resort General Manager

We have just spent a week relaxing at Cable Beach Club Resort and Spa In a garden view room. We checked in at the counter and after showing our vaccination certificate we were given two key cards and told where are our rooms were. We had hired a car and there is free parking that is totally secure that can only be entered by using your room key. Previously when we have stayed at Cable Beach Club we were given a glass of sparkling however becuase of stage two covid restrictions we were surprised to find a bottle in our room fridge. The room fridges are empty so you can go to the supermakets and get yourself some supplies or you can ring for room service if you would prefer. Due to being wet season not all the restaurants were open but there were still two restaurants open as well as the bar near the adults only pool. The staff are all very friendly and make your stay even better. The gardens around the resort are lovely and they have wallabys that appear in the afternoons for a feed on the lawn. There are two pools at the Cable Beach Club. There is a family pool area as well as a adults only pool which has a bar area you can get drinks and meals during the day. The guys at the bar make an amazing cocktail!

The garden rooms are very comfortable. The bed is comfy and the bathroom which supply l'occitane supplies. There is a iron and ironing board in your room as well as a wall safe. There is a washing service available not that we used that. There is a little outdoor area that is private and shaded which you can pop your bathers out to dry or dry any washing you need to do. Each housing area has a do it yourself washing area you can use not that we used it. I would suggest to book at the restaurants and spa at the time you book your accomodation due to the lack of staff that broome has found it hard to get staff due to covid .. If you want a relaxing break Cable beach club doesnt dissapoint.

Had garden view "studios" in the Frangipani & the Dragonfly wings in April & May. The rooms were large. Bed OK. En suite - very poor. There's one door to the entire ensuite so if one of you wants to use the toilet the ensuite is effectively unavailable to the other. No slippers or bath robes. Fill your water bottle at the station on the verandah behind reception - the bottled water supplied is expensive. At reception we were offered sparkling wine - sorry, no sparkling water. Bar prices at the Cichetti Club were not cheap. This could be excellent but I think it suffers badly from complacency. If you don't have a car you'll depend on the Broome Explorer bus to get to Broome proper.

Hi Yragnhoj Thank you for your review and for choosing to stay with us in April and May. I’m sorry to hear that the experience did not live up to your expectations. In regards to your studio room, I’m happy to hear you found it to be spacious. Our ensuites are also designed to be as spacious as possible, therefore, we do not include an internal door, and slippers and robes are available only in our villa and suite rooms. We do like to offer premium bottled water in the room mini-bar, however, for future reference bottled water is available for $1 at each of our bar outlets. Our welcome experience does include a complimentary glass of sparkling wine but we also have still bottled water available so please let one of our staff know and we will happily accommodate. Despite your concerns, I do hope you will stay with us again and enjoy all of the other amenities on offer at the Resort. Kind regards Stuart Kentish General Manager

We stayed in a pool view room overlooking the adult pool. The view and ease of getting to the pool was great although for over $500 a night it’s a ripe off. The shower head was terrible, we could barely get wet under it and it shot out water in all directions to the side. The outdoor day lounge was grubby and faded. The location of the resort itself on cable beach is undeniably unbeatable. Sunsets overlooking cable beach at the Sunset Bar are just magical. Grounds are really pretty and staff are always very friendly. Unfortunately there was a lot we were dissatisfied with. We had loud, drunk, obnoxious neighbours which you could hear easily hear through the adjoining wall. We found that all the food options at the resort were insanely overpriced and the food that we had at the Sunset Bar and Kichi Kichi was awful. Undercooked chicken, old cold ribs, tasteless chicken wrap and all round low quality ingredients. We had the most disgusting mock tails, one tasted like grape hubba bubba and the other was lemongrass and ginger but was undrinkable - I’m pregnant and it almost made me vomit. Food at the Sunset Bar and Grill (proper restaurant) was better but not worth the price either. We heard the set menu dinner at the Italian restaurant was nice but it’s almost $100 per head. The massage at the Chahoya day spa was good but not worth $135 (should be more like $90). I had a facial and body scrub also at the spa that was very disappointing for $200. Both were way too gentle. I could still see my bb cream on my skin as well as dry skin over my face afterwards. The staff are lovely but it’s just an overpriced pretentious day spa. I wouldn’t waste your money. Getting a cabana or day before by the adult pool is a joke. People are so inconsiderate and put their stuff on them first thing in the morning (reserving them) which isn’t allowed, but the staff do nothing. I would recommend staying somewhere in town, hiring a car and then driving out to cable beach for sunsets. You’ll get better food in town and you can still get nice accommodation with a pool for less than half the price!! They are cashing in on the location and the Cable Beach Resort name here sadly.

Hi EmmaW4533, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your recent stay at our resort. While we endeavour to provide a sanctuary for guests to explore and reconnect with themselves, friends and family it appears in your circumstance we did not meet your expectations. Our pricing schedule is in line with our remote location which does, unfortunately, attract a premium, however, wherever possible many other complimentary services are included in the tariff. As a seasonal property it appears that you have stayed in our high season which attracts a rate premium. During other seasons, however, we do offer more competitive rates which many of our guests take advantage of. We do pride ourselves on the level of service and friendliness of our staff, so I am pleased you enjoyed your interactions with our resort staff. Warm Regards, Stuart Kentish General Manager

Our second time staying at this lovely resort, we loved all the facilities, restaurants and pool side service (big shout out to Erica) your customer service, friendly, happy beautiful personality made us feel very welcome everyday. To be very honest all the staff and all the young foreigners throughout the resort were amazing.
The food and cocktails by both pools was great, we have lovely dinner to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday at Cichetti and ate dinner and breakfast and the Sunset Bar & Grill service and attention to detail 10/10.
Only thing I would hope for maybe next visit is complimentary water in your room which I would of thought should be pretty standard. Also would love to see fresh drinking water with disposal cups back by the pool (I understand covid restrictions) but disposal cups would be okay. Also would like to see more booking available to patrons for the day spa could not get in for the 8 days we were staying there. But overall great resort, top spot to watch sunset every night,, close to other great eating places, local bus stop across the road and Cable Beach. Cant wait to go back.

I have just had another excellent stay at Cable Beach Club Resort. It is luxurious. It is idyllic. It’s a perfect spot at which to relax and unwind. The welcome glass of champs provided as you check in was particularly welcome this time, as they were not serving any wine on board the flight from Perth owing to Covid restrictions.

Firstly, a big thank you to the manager, Stuart, for the upgrade, the welcome champs, and the card. Much appreciated. I stayed in a pool terrace unit, which was spacious, private, has a substantial sized terrace, and has direct access to the adult pool. The L’Occitane bathroom products are lovely. The towels are good sized and plentiful.

I had a perfectly cooked eye fillet steak at the Sunset Bar and Grill on my first night. It was delicious. They now serve Singlefile Wooded Chardonnay by the glass at Sunset, which is a favourite of mine.

The Cichetti Club is a great spot for those who do not want a full buffet breakfast. It is open from 7am. Their ham, gruyere cheese, and mustard pickles toasties are delicious. I also had some orange and almond cake from there, which was really moist and tasty.

Dinner at Kichi Kichi was very good, if you feel like Asian food. There is a wide selection of food on the menu. Service is friendly, and there is a good selection of wines served by the glass.

There is a room service menu with a varied selection of food available that is reasonably priced. There are lots of free movies available on tv.

The cocktails served at the adult pool are fantastic. I had a couple of perfectly made Cosmos there, along with a few other different cocktails. I was invited to complimentary cocktails on the new Okari deck on the afternoon of my arrival. Sadly, my flight got in too late for me to attend. Next time!

Sipping Cocktails (a great variety are available ) at the Sunset Bar as you watch the sun set over the ocean at Cable Beach is not to be missed. The sunsets are truly spectacular.

The staff at all the restaurants and bars are friendly and helpful, as are the reception staff.

All in all it was a great stay. I’m looking forward to returning to Cable Beach Resort soon.

When I pay $42 for a steak and $12 on top of that for a quite ordinary salad I expect a great meal and my steak cooked the way I like it - not so on this occasion, my rare steak came to the table black (chargrill) on the outside and that's fine but it was on the verge of medium to well done (all sign of pink had flown the coop) $12 for a glass of cheap white is also up there I feel. The best part, and this was really good, was the lovely indigenous waitress, just a great girl and trying so very hard to overcome nerves and shyness. Some more fans would make this outdoor dining a little more comfortable.

I agree with Joanne, if you contact the resort, they will meet you at the airport when your flight gets in. Be aware, that subject to what month you are travelling there, it is still daylight at 6.15pm and the resort is only a 10 min drive away, so even a taxi is an option and less than $10.

That's correct, you can get a shuttle but you could also just jump in a taxi as the resort is only a 10 minute drive if that
