We had a pleasant check in experience with the chap waiting for us after we called. Our site wasn’t really clearly marked and I had to move a sprinkler for us to get set up. The power and water were perfectly functional. The toilet block was tired and needs renovation. I used the toilets once and then opted to use the bathroom in our campervan for further toilet and shower uses. There were nice views of the water. There was no restaurant open on site so we had Dominos delivered which we collected from the entrance.

G,Day have possibly the worst caravan park in Broome.
The location saves the park from losing a star.
Plus the town beach upgrade.
The amenities (toilet and showers) were clean but sooo old and in need of replacing.
No BBQ or camp kitchen as such with no pool.
G,Day took full advantage of the current popularity of caravaning by charging north of $70 per night.
The staff saved another star.
Very helpful.

The location of this park was good and the waterfront sites were lovely. However I think it was overpriced for what it had to offer. Amenities are old and there is not much more besides the waterfront which not everyone gets anyway that was appealing for the price we paid. Have stayed at similar parks with old amenities etc but paid a much smaller nightly fee. We didn’t get what we paid for here.

This amazing modem cabin has everything you need to relax on your holiday. Had to have 2 bedroom option as 1 bedroom not available. Absolutely comfortable bed with views towards the ocean from lounge. Great patio area. Great kitchen facilities including a dishwasher.

Great location, helpful & friendly reception staff (Ros), but that’s where it ends.

Our nearest ablution & laundry block was closed. The remaining 2 were dirty, old and in dire need of attention. There were no camp site kitchens.

Out of around 8 washing machines, about 3 were functioning, and a game of chance finding the working machine; a couple did not have out of order signs.

The powered sites on the waterfront are by far the best positions, however the entry and about 50 % of the park is habited by permanent, mostly male residents in a multitude of homes consisting of temporary shacks, converted coaches and caravans with self built extensions.

I would not describe this as a holiday park and it certainly does not meet the standard of other Discovery Parks; Port Hedland for example, which is the absolute opposite in terms of cleanliness & facilities.

It is clear to me now, why there are no images of the Broome park on their website, it is not a pleasant place to stay and the rows of temporary park homes are off putting.

I would definitely not visit again, particularly after seeing other nearby parks that offer far better facilities for around the same cost.

Hi David, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback after your recent stay with us at Discovery Parks - Broome. We're extremely disheartened to read that you've been left extremely disappointed on this occasion. We have great plans to upgrade this park and bring it up to the standard that is enjoyed across the rest of our network, however the park is owned by local Council. Discovery Parks manage this park on behalf of Council, and we are currently navigating potential upgrades with them and hope to be able to offer an improved experience to our guests in the near future. Thanks for taking the time to bring this to our attention. We'd love you to come back and stay with us in the future, or try one of our other parks in the network - if you sign up to our newsletter via our website we can keep you updated on all of our latest deals, or otherwise keep an eye on the deals page on our website for special offers. Dust dust and dirt. No care shown for the caravan sites at all. The amenities are dreadful. Stainless steel rusty toilet bowls, that (if your lucky) need four or more flushed to clear the waste, shower heads that spurt water everywhere and generally heading for a shower turns into quite an unpleasant ordeal. Charging top rates for no amenities (no camp kitchen no games room no pool) We won’t be staying here again nor will we recommend it. They need to use some of the revenue they are making from charging premium prices to give the park some desperately needed TLC and upgrading. Perhaps the person giving feedback to these reviews should stop acknowledging the park needs some TLC and actually take some action. The one star is simply for the view.

This is a great place to stay me and my family stayed in a cabin which was very beautiful and clean you could tell how new they were and the shower was huge the water pressure was amazing and it was so warm the pool was good but it was a bit dirty but you could still swim in it the caravan park is easy to navigate as well. The staff were very nice as well, the balcony was great there was a big couch as well as 2 chairs there was also some sliding doors that were beautiful the hallway is a bit little so it is 1 person at a time the cabin is very well decorated and furnished the cabin that we were staying in had 2 tv’s. The Landry was good it was card operated and we had clean clothes at the end of the day it was a great comfy little place to stay would recommend going here.

Well, where do we start! Disgusting amenities for the price we paid for a start. Showers .. expect a cool shower not a hot one. Two workable washing machines for the number of people having to stay here. Only here because the entire city of Broome is busy and definitely overrated! The accounting system of this park was abominable and would take much more to explain.Short story, we were given a sight- oh goodness, when we got there someone was already on there! We were then given another site for the entirety of out 12 day stay. In a motorhome we went out for 3 hours for dinner one night and came back and found a campervan on our site who said he was booked there for 2 weeks. We phoned afterhours who said it couldn’t be looked at until morning so we were put on an ‘emergency’ site for the night. Next morning, explanation was couldnt move the guy on our site - we needed to ho on his site which was not suitable for us at all. Eventually after much discussion we were given a site where we wouldn’t have to move again until we left…. Oops! Phone call on the day before we were to leave saying we should be gone.. our records state we were to stay to the date we had. Oh… and we were right but what business had an antiquainted booking system like this… absolutely disgusting! Oh and we were not the only disgruntled customers. Overpriced for what we experienced hence a one star review.

We have been Travelling for 3 mths and this would have to be the worst G'day Park on service however a great location. We arrived about 11.30 to be told we are not a allowed in until 2.
We had to wait over 2 hrs in the hot sun for our caravan site mine you we arrived on a Sunday and there is nothing open on a Sunday in Broome.
The reason given was the lawns had to be mowed and grass watered,on arrival to our site it was bone dry and grass not cut.

W found the site we had on the waters edge to be very peaceful, and the view was great, we had plenty of shade and if you are staying for a length of time you would be able to water the grass and get it growing on your site too. It was close to town as well. It's just the older park in town so not as flash as the new ones It all worked, just a little dated. Take a bath mat or wooden slats to stand on for the shower to keep out of the grit. Good luck
