Detailed Reviews
I stayed in a studio. Location is very good and the beach is directly accessible across the road via a walkway through the dunes. Good facilities. Room was well appointed and clean. The corner store/takeaway was quite good. I enjoyed my 2 nights here. One point of improvement should be the wifi. It simply did not work in my room. To add to this, mobile phone reception was also very weak in that part of the Park. They posted a QR code on the room wall to download a compendium of the resort to your phone... but I couldn’t down load it as I had no wifi in the room. I think for the cost of the room, that good working wifi is a standard for 2021. The airport is close by, and you can hear the occasional plane coming or going, but Broome Airport isn’t that busy anyway. I also think that the park is a bit quite crammed with caravans and there is little space between sites. I was asked for two forms of ID on check-in... something that I didn’t have to do in any of the other 9 places I stayed at during my travels in northern WA. Credit card ID is fine to cover Bond/damage, but not sure why I need to show my drivers license to check in to my room, particularly when I have already done an online check-in via email.

+1
Pre-booked a cabin from Melbourne as it was busy season there. We arrived after travelling for the day and found the check-in easy and our cabin had the a/c already on. It was a roomy 2bedroom cabin, self contained and had a full kitchen, bathroom with shower, and a covered verandah area.
It was fairy old-ish, but well maintained and clean everywhere. We liked the undercover parking too.
The park was well laid out and there was no late night noise. About the only improvement we’d suggest would be a new and more solid qs bed, as the one we had felt a bit rickety.
Overall, a good stay and would be happy to visit again.

Neat but noisy
My wife and I stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin near the pool; at first we were impressed with the size of the unit and the decking with outdoor setting. There were air-cons in both bedrooms and the living area. In the kitchen was a big fridge, microwave and ample plates and cutlery. On the down side the bathroom was disgusting; the kick panel of the vanity unit was wet rotten, the shower leaked like a sieve and the small shower cubicle was filthy in all the corners. All light globes in the rooms were low wattage and rather dull. For us as an older couple the children’s yelling, throwing balls and playing games in the pool area all day was very loud and made it particularly unpleasant for us to use the pool at times. We even had to go inside our cabin a couple of times during the day just to get a break from the noise.

When we arrived after a very long day we were allocated a site that looked more like a cornered dirt / sand pit and nothing like any of the other sites around or the ones shown on your webpage. If we had known that this was the only one available site we would have found somewhere else to stay so it would have been good to know at the time of the booking. It was not possible to use the outdoor area at all due to all the dirt. There was no privacy at all as we had to back all the way into the cabin at the back to get the motorhome onto the space and the cabin had its windows straight into our back window and outdoor area. The other more permanent neighbour had to cross our outdoor area to drive in and out and also had lights on all night in his outdoor enclosed balcony area where he also started watching TV at 4.30am in the morning. Finally there was no place to get water or empty water as promised on your sites without an extra long additional cord across the next door site, which we were not told about and we ended up not being able to fill up our water and were out of that the whole first night as it was too late to find anyone to help or move the motorhome without disturbing anyone. We ended up leaving straight after our organised tour the next day.
This site really needs to be attended to before you rent it out to anyone else in our opinion.

At the price of $53 for 2 adults you’d expect a decent sleep. 10pm quiet time doesn’t exist and don’t bother bringing tent pegs because they’ll bend when hammering into the rock hard floor. Check out is at 10am yet toilets and showers close at around 9.30AM for cleaning. Very convenient for people needing the loo or shower before they leave... NOT.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit for 8 nights. It was nice and clean, with fans and air conditioners in both bedrooms and the main living area. Nice little verandah to sit under. It had everything we needed, including our own washing machine and clothes line. The location is great - across the road from the beach and Diver's Tavern (which we went to four times for dinner), and an easy walk to the main Cable beach area. There is a bus stop directly across the road for the bus into town, which comes by every 30 minutes. The pool area was nice with enough sun lounges, though the pool water was very cold. Not anyone's fault of course, and the pool was lovely and clean. The caravan park was full with no vacancies at all, yet noise was not a problem. It rained one night which was a bit noisy on the tin roof, with some type of animal scratching to get in. Other than that, no problems at all. No hesitations in recommending this place.

We must admit we thought from comments made by other travellers that we would be squeezed in which wouldn't have been pleasant.
We stayed for 8 nights late July into August.
We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome from Manager Alannah and staff.
Our given site had room enough for our 24' van, annexe, slide out and vehicle to the side.
We enjoyed a cul de sac area with other travellers and staff members.
The park is maintained to a very high standard and is set in one of the best locations in Broome.
Tours picked up / dropped off from the park.
A very enjoyable stay and we would certainly be back in the future.

This was the best caravan park/cabin spot to stay in if visiting Cable Beach. We stayed in a cabin which provided all necessities (washing machine, working AC and fans etc). The little veranda was lovely to sit when cooling down as there was shade and everyone being so friendly and walking past. It is a short walk to the beach around 10min, however I recommend walking early before it gets too hot!! The pool is clean but busy, but such a good refresher for when not at the beach. Overall, great family friendly park!

We spent a week at RAC Cable Beach Holiday Park in June 2023, our first visit to Broome, along with two other couples. All the staff we met over that week were knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. An early check-in the day we arrived was so much appreciated. The holiday park was very well maintained with lots of shade trees and a tropical feel, well positioned in a nice area, close to Cable Beach. Even the fallen leaves were blown out of our site while we were away during the days.
It had a security barrier on the driveway entry, operated by a swipe entry mechanism and the staff were very observant and responsive to appropriate use of this entry system, as we found out. Husband and friend were stopped and approached on entry when they used one swipe card to enter two vehicles, the second vehicle belonging to that of another friend who had already checked out early due to an emergency family matter at home (& had returned their entry swipe pass on leaving), but whose vehicle remained on their booked site for us to take for a planned service & pick up afterwards, prior to us delivering it to a storage facility. Well done RAC Cable Beach! When it was explained to the staff, they knew all about it!
The facilities were top notch. Everything worked! Nice clean ablution facilities with plenty of toilet & shower cubicles. Large laundry area, also with handwashing sink facilities & plenty of hanging lines.
The pool area looked very inviting and we so wanted to get there, but we were so busy in Broome that we missed the opportunity to enjoy it.
We would stay at RAC Cable Beach again in a heartbeat. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the park for two weeks this June 2023. We were greeted by Hayden, who directed us to our site and offered to park the van which suited us as like most parks parking can be challenging. We enjoyed our stay, as the amenities were clean and well maintained and conveniently located. Secondly the park is located close to the patrolled beach and an easy walk. Good and well priced restaurants are close by and a drive into Broome proper is less than 10 minutes away.
