Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The site has everything you could want. Far enough away from town so it's quiet, but close enough that you're not driving for ages, and the pool is fantastic. However, there are a couple of areas that would improve everyone's experience. The camp kitchen is sufficient, but a burner or two would go a long way as you're a bit restricted with the BBQs as they don't get hot enough to keep water boiling for rice or pasta for example. But the main way to improve the site would be the standard of cleanliness in the ablutions, because for want of a better word, they're disgusting! I watched the cleaner one morning and she went through the motions at best. They need a deep clean, and a proper scrub, because the filth and grime in there is way more than just a couple of weeks worth. That is months of neglectful work. For me, this takes the campsite from an average 7/10 to a 10/10 and easily the best in Broome for the price.

Hi Aaron M, thanks for taking the time to provide your feedback. We’ve shared your comments regarding the cleanliness with our team for review; while the facilities are old, we certainly ensure proper cleans are taking place every day. We look forward to welcoming you back to the park in the future. Kind regards, Broome Caravan Park Team

I phoned to book in and said we had a 24 foot van. However I should have said we had 24 foot can with a four foot drawbar because we were put on a small site and after walking around the caravan park found plenty of free sites that would have been easy to get into and would have suited out length much better. Staff need to know that it is hard to manoeuvre into a site with it exactly the same length as the caravan. Straight opposite us were sites that were car and caravan length. Just can’t understand, we just put it down to the staff have never tried to back a caravan into a site with only the road width to manoeuvre around.

We had clean, well furnished cabin and comfortable. The air conditioning was great to have during the middle of the day. This caravan park is just a few kilometres from Broome centre and Cable Beach. The ground are very well maintained and kangaroos come visiting each afternoon. The pool was extremely popular and very clean. Would stay here again if ever in the area again.

Jayne, Paul, Kathy and Graeme and all the staff at Broome Caravan Park are so friendly, helpful and accommodating! It has been the perfect spot for our family to explore this beautiful part of the country and we absolutely love the location of this park being only 5 minutes from town or Cable Beach.

Thanks to excellent management this Caravan Park feels very safe and secure. The park is very well maintained and the pool is amazing with ample space for everyone to enjoy, even during the very busy dry season! There are two very large amenities blocks and laundry facilities with ample clothes line space, all kept very clean and some have also been recently upgraded. The park offers very spacious sized sites, ample shady options, slab or grass, and there’s plenty of wildlife to see including wallabies, lizards, birds and frogs!

We’d very highly recommend staying at Broome Caravan Park and hanging around a little longer to fully explore this beautiful location.

Thanks very much for your hospitality Jayne, Paul and team.

Had a 8 night stay at this great park, with good sites and clean ablutions. Staff were outstanding and as it was slightly out of town, you weren’t concerned about noise or unwelcome visitors. The pool is resort standard and given the weather was around 34 each day, a welcome retreat. I have no concerns about recommending this park and will use again when we return to Broome. As a bonus there was free entertainment, a concert during our stay.

The sites were very roomy and shaded. Facilities were clean and pool was excellent. Staff were very friendly. Nothing was a problem for the park operators to change sites and help with what to look at around the area and were very helpful in helping booking tours etc

From the moment we arrived it was a dogs breakfast.
Penny on the front desk told us we were not allowed to have four cars on two sites, despite at the time of making the booking it was not an issue. Penny continued to contradict herself throughout the check-in process, thus whilst Sherylene barked orders from the back office. Eventually we were sorted and allocated two sites as originally booked.
We set up camp with our four cars, camper trailer, dogs and baby. Sherylene even popped over and said hello, ensuring the dogs were not making too much of a ruckus.
The next morning we got another surprise visit from Sherylene. This time she was putting up posters making an overflow area exactly where we had parked two of our cars. She initially ambushed one person in the party, though we thought it best she spoke to the group as it was a group booking. She did not agree and said she would only speak to the group leader as we had group mentality. Anyway she rabbited on about how we were not set up in our allocated sites, when we tried to ask a few questions, such as; What are the site boundaries? Why had she not explained this at last night's visit? Etc. She refused to answer us, again saying we had group mentality. She told us we knew where the gate was if we were not happy. Eventually she said we could stay as we were, though if we come back, we were not to set up as we had.
The next thing Charlie pulls up and starts spray painting lines around the place, thus for Sherylene's overflow.
In the couple of days to follow, Sherylene then put two lots of people next to us in her new "overflow sites", despite the park having several spare sites.
Sherylene also proceeded to cut laps in her Yaris of her newly designated overflow area, occasionally giving a smug waive as she passed.
Needless to say, this place was run by absolute jokers and I would not recommend it!
We were a group of seven adults, five dogs, and a baby. We booked for 4 nights.

Hi, We're not 100% sure which park you stayed at, however we do not have staff by any of the above names working with us at Broome Caravan Park. We're interested that these names (though incorrect) keep coming up in negative reviews. We appreciate you and your group did not enjoy your time at Broome Caravan Park. We hope you found elsewhere to stay in Broome and managed to enjoy your holiday elsewhere.

This is a lovely park. The office staff, Jayne and Deb are a credit to the management. We originally booked for 2 weeks, then extended. Jayne was very helpful and very professional in accommodating our requests. We would hugely recommend this park especially to those with big rigs.

The staff were terrific. We were booked in for two days, then a gap and then two more days. But first day of the gap we broke down, and were towed back to Broome. The staff found us a powered site, we arrived at 9.45pm and it was a site that they had picked so the tow truck could back us into, so no problem, and they were fine for us to fix it up later. The pool was also good to cool off in.

Our final destination after doing the Gibb River Road was Broome. We are a group of 7 adults, 1 baby and 5 dogs in 4 cars. We called twice before starting our trip to make our reservation and explained our situation. We spoke with Sandy, who was really nice and she confirmed they would give us 2 sites as they were quite big and we could be together (still paying the price per person, which was ok for us).

What a surprise when we got to the reception to do the check in and we found the rudest 2 women we've seen in ages! They just told us everything we couldn't do in their caravan park and that we couldn't occupy 2 sites with our 4 cars (booking that they actually offered weeks before on the phone).

The morning after, at 6:30 am, one of the women that was at the reception with purple hair, came to our sites to tell 1 person of our group that our cars couldn't be where we parked them as they needed the back space to make overflow sites.

We asked a few normal questions such where are the site boundaries, why they don't put different site signs, etc which she refused to answer, saying that she didn't have to explain any of that to us and if we didn't like the rules of her caravan park we knew were the gate was. When we all went to talk to her and understand the situation, she said she wouldn't talk to the whole group as we had "group mentality" and we were a gang giving her bad looks. She was really rude and without a point. After the confrontation, she said we could stay were we were parked and minutes after came back and started putting overflow signs in our spots, sent someone to paint lines, etc.

One car of our group left a couple of days earlier and she decided to put someone in that space, even though we paid for it and there were plenty of spaces in the caravan park.

It is a shame that this place is run by people with no customer service skills at all as the park has a lot to offer. Broome has plenty of caravan parks and I would recommend to keep this one as your last option. We will never come back.
