We came to Broome for a friends wedding and a group of us all chipped in for a 3 bedroom villa.
Check in was easy. First impressions of the villa were not too bad but One of our rooms was not unlocked, we had to phone reception 5 or 6 times before some one came to unlock the third room. Once the room was opened it was clear the room wasn't cleaned and the housekeeping team came and cleaned the room at 10pm that evening. Overall communicating with reception onn any matter was difficult and frustrating.
The cleanliness of the villa was poor, the hammocks on the deck were mouldy, there were still decorations hung from the previous guests and rubbish in the gardens. Customer service was pretty poor and the Cafe "breakfast" was and extra cost and was way over priced for cereal and toast (no hot breakfast avaliable) 1 start at best!
The idea of the villas was excellent in theory but unfortunately our experience was not worth the exuberant price we paid such a shame, wouldnt stay here again.

We just came home from 6 nights at The Pearle. First impressions of the resort were great, with the beautiful gardens and check in was easy.
Our 3 bedroom villa was spacious, clean and had our own pool. The main resort pool was nice too and not crowded. We didn’t dine in the resort cafe, opting instead to cook BBQ’s in our villa or eat in the many restaurants on offer in Broome.
I must echo what other reviewers have mentioned, that the additional bedrooms are completely separate from the main living area which may be a concern for travellers with small children as we were. The gate to the villa complex locks but the lock can easily be reached by a small child. So consider this when deciding if this resort is right for you.
Our bedding and towels were changed once during our stay which was fine. However, for a fully self contained villa I think the kitchen could have been better equipped, also provision of some basic cleaning supplies (washing powder and detergent is provided) would have been appreciated.
Overall we enjoyed ourselves and may stay again one day when our children are older!

excellent accommodation at a very reasonable price.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
We had A beautiful 3 bedroom villa with a pool, it reminded of villas we have stayed at in Bali.
2 of the bedrooms were locked off as there were only 2 of us, they were separate from the main villa.
The villa was great very modern with all you could want, full kitchen, dishwasher, even a coffee maker.
Very large bathroom,2 outside areas one with a bbq
We had a great stay.
Thanks Pearle

Pearle very hard to find as no road signage. cleanliness not up to standard, mold in shower, very over priced for what you get, no room service (no beds made etc..) very poor facilities i.e. 2 sachets of dishwasher powder for a week stay. pool guy will wander in with out knocking supposed to do pool between 7am and 10am however he arrived at our villa around 12pm most days, also he never scooped our pool, once and by the time we left pool was full of plant debris! this could be a nice place but poor management and the penny pinching makes for a very average stay.

Dear Nikki V, Thank you for your feedback. There is a Pearle of Cable Beach sign at the start of Millington Road pointing in the direction of the Resort, this is off Sanctuary Road, my apologies that you missed this after turning off Cable Beach Road. I am sorry you felt the accommodation is overpriced. I have passed on your comments to our pool attendant to ensure he knocks loudly upon entry to the Villas to service the pools. Kind Regards Carolyn Bayard

My mother and I stayed at the Pearl for 5 nights arriving Christmas Day- we had called 3 times prior to booking and explained we were arriving at 8.30am and we had a Christmas lunch at the Mangrove at 12 so we requested early check-in we were told there would be a note left on our booking. On arrival into Broome we picked up our car and drove straight to the Pearl when we discovered that the reception didn’t open until 10am. Why were we not told this when making the booking?? At exactly 9.59 the receptionist pulled up and went into reception. We went in and explained our situation, her response “no, check in is at 3pm we have limited staff” we then asked if there was a bathroom we could use to get changed into our clothes for Christmas lunch she took us to a small bathroom next to the pool area and said we could use this no apology, no solution, no nothing she was SO RUDE. This bathroom was about 40 degrees, dirty and infested with mosquitoes it was so horrendous we had to get in the car and drive around to try and cool down.

We were called at 2pm to say the room was ready I picked up the keys again no apology.

Some things to know if you are booking in the wet season that they don’t tell you when you book.

1. The pool temperature is so hot and never cools down no matter what time of day you swim it is very uncomfortable and gives no relief from the heat at all.
2. The “bar” and “day spa” is closed during the wet season so you can’t even have a drink by the pool or a massage like they advertise.
We were constantly told at multiple restaurants, shops etc that “lots of things close for the wet season because there is no staff” I understand that but this needs to be advertised and don’t book out the entire accommodation if you don’t have enough staff to deal with it.

The parking is also a huge issue here we could not find a park near our accommodation most nights people parked on the verge blocking the road because there is no other option.

It was above 30 degrees every single day when we stayed, and everyday we saw people lugging their cases in the heat to their villas when there was a baggage car that was never used. Why have one if you do not offer guests help with their luggage??

We were not the only ones who dealt with the rude receptionists when speaking with other guests. On departure picking up our bags the receptionist did not look up for her computer no thankyou for staying no nothing did not say one word.

Please spend your money elsewhere as the lack of professionalism and service was very disappointing and put a huge dampener on our stay in Broome.

We booked a 3 bedroom pool villa in order to celebrate a milestone birthday with some family. Knowing the weather would be humid and the beach not an option for swimming, we were very glad we had our own pool that we could enjoy throughout the day. It was almost perfect! Spacious, well equipped, well appointed. There were some minor things that would make it perfect such as: instead of sachets of detergent etc some bottles instead as we were rationing our supplies in order to have enough till our mid week service was done. We had to buy oil, glad wrap and salt and pepper and then leave them behind which was a bit frustrating. The bin bags they supply for the kitchen bins are the cheapest weakest you can get, the bag would rip as you lifted it out. I’m being picky though, but just little things that could be improved to make the experience 110% great having a coffee pod machine, a blender for making cocktails was a bonus, but please add some “hi ball” glasses to your collection as well as some decent coffee mugs! We loved the Pearle and have wanted to stay there for some time! It didn’t disappoint 🤗

We stayed at the Pearle for six nights. Due to a booking error we had to move rooms twice. The staff were very helpful in doing this but it was a hassle. The villas are very well appointed each with its own small pool though we did find the one in villa 25 a bit cool, I think it gets less sun. The cafe at the pool area is very basic and if breakfast isn’t included then I wouldn’t pay the $20. It’s better to buy food and eat in your room or go out.

The complex does need some updating to reflect the high prices and in particular the cafe should serve lunches and have a bar.

There is a bus stop nearby which does a circuit of Broome, it runs hourly at 17 mins past the hour but it stops early evening. Taxis are available but expect a wait. In hindsight we should have hired a car to explore and to get some shopping in the first couple of days.

Amex Travel made a placeholder for a 4 night stay at this hotel. The rate we were advised was approximately $2500 a night for a one bed pool villa! So nearly $10K for the 4 nights! We were advised this included all services so we assumed it was room, food and drink package. Still quite high but it was Broome in July. A routine check to the resort revealed it was for the Room only plus a cleaner daily (I would have thought that was a normal inclusion) plus the concession of allowing a cancellation outside 60 days of the booking. The advertised rate for room only is $939. So almost $9K for the Cleaner. The premise has no restaurant so no meals. The current advertised rate on the website is $4552 for the 4 nights. Even that is very high for just a room in a premise without restaurant . Recommend you all steer clear of what seems quite plainly extortion.

Dear Mr & Mrs Alan Rankins, I would like to highlight the fact that you made a booking through your preferred third party - AMEX.  The agent from AMEX made a booking through our website. On our website, we have a variety of rate types which can be booked. There are different terms and conditions, inclusions & cancellation policies which are clearly listed. The agent then chose the rate type they decided was the best for you. At no point did your agent call us to discuss the different rate options available - they then proceeded to make the booking on your behalf. Your agent agreed to the rate type that was booked which again, clearly states the inclusions.  You have been mislead by your booking agent - through no fault of our own - yet we are being disparaged for their incompetence.   If you had booked with us directly, you would not have written this misleading review. We are not responsible for what you are told by third parties who book our villas - we have no control over what content they provide to their clients. It's unfortunate that hotels/resorts receive these kinds of reviews when third party agents - who make these bookings are not held accountable - yet we have to deal with disgruntled guests through no fault of our own. My suggestion to everyone reading this review, is to book direct through the property you wish to stay at and do not use third party agents. Regards Marco Gionfriddo General Manager

This is an expensive place to stay and I therefore expected better. Yes, the apartments in this apartment hotel are well appointed, but for over $600/night I did not expect to have to pay a further $20 each for a very poor continental breakfast (cooked not available) or $17 if you want a change of towels, there is no room servicing either so make your own bed. Reception only open between 8am and 5pm so best of luck if you want to enquire about something. Certainly a bit disappointing.

With only two nights in Broome before heading for our Kimberley adventure, this resort was ideal accommodation for our needs. Staff were very friendly and accommodating with servicing our every request. With breakfast included in our room package both mornings, we were heading out early on tours booked. Staff provided a takeaway breakfast option which was perfect. Our single room was comfortable with TV, Foxtel, free WiFi and basic amenities. All we needed for our short stay. Used the pool on a down afternoon which was lovely.
Would definitely book here again.

Shared a guest room with a friend and found it really comfortable. Large bathroom with double sinks. Plenty of storage room and small balcony screened by palms. We stayed 16 nights. We were out most of the day so didn’t spend much time in our room.

Not too sure if the cafe is open in October it is open for both breakfast and lunch although the lunch menu is limited to toasted sandwiches and a cheese platter they also have a limited choice of wine and beer, you can always walk around to the cafe at cable beach caravan park about 10 mins, very good selection of food there.
