Detailed Reviews
Great location right near shopping, restaurants, a convenience store and great view from the apartment. The bed was terrible in the main bedroom - lumpy and very worn/soft like you were sleeping on a bouncy castle (as weird as that sounds!). Room 1511 if the owners want to look to replace it. A bit of road noise as well but I suppose that's what comes with a great location. Kids loved the pool and spa. We should have brought some of our own washing powder as only wanted to do one wash but none provided so bought a box. Really close to jump on a tram. We enjoyed meals at Byblos and Kobe Jones (first table deal) which were only less than 200 metres away. Shopped up a storm at DFO South Wharf!

Reception is located on corner to the right hand side on the main entrance. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment on the 4th floor. We had a large patio area overlooking the Yarra River and the Exhibition Building, full size kitchen, dual bathroom toilet to both bedrooms, and a separate laundry with washing machine and dryer and another toilet. The bedrooms were a good size, 1 King and 2 reasonable singles in the other room. Noise was minimal and the building facilities are excellent. Decent gym, lap pool, spa, sauna and steam room. It is 1 block from Southern Cross Station, a short walk to the City Circle Tram (free both via Flinders & Swanston Sts) and a short walk to the Skybus, also at Southern Cross. Rear access will take you to Seafarers Bridge to cross the Yarra River to DFO, Convention City, Southbank & the Crown Complex. There are also many good restaurants along the riverside. Would certainly stay here again.

It is not often that one is able to stay in an apartment that feels like home. A comfortable bed with on-suite bathroom and plugs next to the bed is nice to find. Top that off with warmth, quiet and a good view and I am happy.

We travelled to Melbourne for the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo and booked this accommodation on-line, hoping that the pictures would match the actual property. I must say that the property FAR exceeded our expectations and we were 200% satisfied!!
I became ill on the flight and when I explained this to Camilla en route to the property she went out of her way to have our apartment serviced (after the previous guest literally checked out at 9am) and it was ready 4 and a 1/2 hours early allowing me to crash straight into bed. I am so grateful that she was able to assist us and made it seem like it was no big deal - although I'm sure the reality was somewhat different!!
Anyway, the apartment was fabulous. My husband and I took the master suite with ensuite and my parents took the second room with the master bathroom. The beds were comfortable with sufficient bedding and additional pillows, ensuring everyone was able to have the pillow softness/hardness of their choice. The bathrooms were also large and both had spare towels available, although we didn't need them as the were a great size anyway. There was plenty of spare toilet paper and the complimentary toiletries were luxurious. The water pressure was phenomenal and there was plenty of piping hot water.
The view from both bedrooms and the lounge was beautiful, up the river towards the Crown Casino and across to the Convention Centre. There was always something happening - helicopters flying up and down the river, people rowing up and down the river, pleasure craft cruising along, people walking and cycling up the Promenades and eating in the cafes and restaurants lining both sides of the river. Never a dull moment and none of it intruded on us!
The Apartment facilities were lovely, the pool and spa area were clean and appeared well-maintained. The lifts were newly refurbished and were super-quick. Being on the 12th floor we expected some delays but this was not the case. There was little or no noise from the other residents in the building, I heard our neighbours dog bark once or twice but it was not a problem at all.
I am planning my next trip to Melbourne just so I can stay here again!!

Stayed 3 nights in a one bedroom apartment with a river view. Perfect location to stroll across the river for the convention centre. Also easy access with a 10 minute walk to the Skybus stop arriving from the airport. And only 2 minutes to various tram stops which meant easy journeys to restaurants! The apartment was well equipped, clean and functional- not luxurious- but all mod cons.
Good blackout blinds and quiet enough for a good night's sleep. Small gym plus indoor pool. Check in was easy with friendly and helpful staff. Good value.

This apartment was exactly what we were looking for during our latest stay in the city for a conference. Everything from booking to check out was seamless, the staff were friendly and helpful and the apartment itself was lovely and in the perfect location for easy access to the convention centre. Great size, great amenities and really thoughtful little touches, like the hair band included with the shower cap. We'll definitely be back.

I've been to Melbourne twice this year so far and both times I've stayed at the Flinders Wharf Apartments, because I had to attend events at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. It's a quick 5 minute walk over the bridge and there are an endless amount of cafes and eateries...Also close to the Crown Casino.
The apartments are very well laid out and a very spacious living and kitchen area, which is great it you have people dropping in after an event, or you want to make breakfast for the family before heading out. On my first stay we shared a 3 bedroom with 2 other couples and we never got in each other way, and on my last trip i had a 2 bedroom to myself and it was more room than I needed.
This is going to be my go to location from now on whenever I visit Melbourne.

My husband and I loved staying at the Finders Wharf Apartments as they are well appointed and located at South Banks door step. So close to restaurants, bars and the CBD is only a short tram ride or walk. We loved our five night stay! We will be back!

The location, the view and value for money are hard to beat. Great service, a very nice room (for us 2 x bedrooms + 1.5 bathrooms + well appointed kitchen/dine/living room and balcony on level 18). Easy and quick to get anywhere. Quiet spot, but easy and quick access to everything. Plenty of everything close-by. The bathroom was a little tired, and could do with a spruce up.

From the very beginning of our stay we experienced the best hospitality. Our room was 1121 and we enjoyed our stay that much we have rebooked for next years conference.
The location is perfect - walk to Harbour Town (about 15 - 20 minutes), walk to the free tram and go up to Queen Vic Markets (5 minutes to the tram and get off at Elizabeth St to change trams up to the markets from memory), walk to DFO (only across the bridge - 3 minutes), the convention centre and so much more. All the restaurants surrounding you are fantastic. Our favourites - Byblos just downstairs and walk to the left a minute and Munich over the river and right- who are currently celebrating Oktoberfest. What fun that was! Breakfast - go to the Boatyard just across the bridge sit outside on the deck and enjoy the mild Melbourne weather. There are also some nice places to eat directly downstairs and at the back of reception - can get takeaway. Just go out of the foyer riverside, turn right and they are located around the corner of the building. We didn't eat from there but it looked popular and menus tasty and smelt fantastic. Next time we will.
The apartment - very clean, modern and well presented. Well equipped clean kitchen, laundry with generous detergent, Great beds and tons of pillows to choose from if pillow choice is a concern for you. Terrace is narrow but wow what a view of the river, city scape, casino - night time is great to see the gas light show along the river, people milling about along the boardwalks. Night time we sat outside with beautiful cheeses, salami, wine, olives, prawns we bought from the markets that day and had pre dinner yummy things before venturing out to one of the many restaurants to pick from. You can get wine from the Vic markets - just walk right up the back of the fresh produce section and they are located to the far right. You can do tastings before you purchase anything with a really good selection.
No problem with noise - we left the large sliding doors open to let in the cool gentle breeze and so we could hear the rowers go past in the mornings and hear the ding of the trams.. and at night the blast of the gas show from the casino. But there is no loud traffic noises or anything that would detract from your enjoyment. If that's not your thing - then shut the doors and turn on the air-con - the unit is soundproof.
Great lap pool - exceptionally clean area, sauna and spa. Well equipped gym available for you too. There is car parking but you will have to pay for it and book I think. Room clean service - not sure but I think it may be once a week - so no daily cleaning service. If you want you room attended to - you have to request it and pay a premium. We stayed for 3 nights and didn't - we are clean tidy people and I make my bed up regardless of any service in the room - even on cruise ships. So this was not a concern. There is a dishwasher in the kitchen with generous amounts of dish tablets and washing up liquid. All common areas are exceptionally clean and well maintained. There is a garbage shoot in the lift area to help keep things in order.
Just before you arrive management send you an email. READ IT ALL. There is a lot of helpful information for you. The best bit was how to get there - street address and even pictures of what to look for. So all you have to do is show the taxi / limo driver and you wont get lost.
Check out is 10am. If this doesn't suit your flight schedule - reception will hold your bags till your ready to go. When we went to collect our bags, reception was shut - we thought whoops - BUT - their contact numbers are on the doors and in the email they sent you, which we rang and the lovely reception lady was there in 1 minute (she just had to pop out). So its no problem - just check the office hour times and also let them know when you will be back to collect your bags - communication is the key.
The best compliment we can give - is that we have rebooked our stay for next year. That in itself speaks volumes. Enjoy.
