Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The apartment is clean and conducive. Furnished tastefully and complete. The washing machine serves us well. Location superb, the free tram stop is just in front of the building and made access to shopping centers, train station, bus terminal easy and fantastic. There are eateries at walking distance. Lift to the apartment is quick and not crowded. If come to Melbourne again, this will be my choice of stay and i highly recommend.

This place wasn’t too bad for the money factor, it was actually pretty sound proof the only noise we heard was from the wind being so high up. Good features about the property is that it has everything if you want to cook, washing machine, dryer, as well as some complementary things like body wash, shampoo, washing power to do washing. The receptionist was super lovely & friendly, and it does have a heated pool and spa with gym. There was a couple of downsides we had cigarette burns in one of the blankets, it looked like the toilet seat was maybe stained or had mould and same with the grout in the shower. It looked like the shower head is placed wrong, it doesn’t really stay up, it floods the bathroom and you can tell the room we stayed in had water damage to the bottom of the door frame and was taped up.

My friends and I stayed in a Deluxe 2 bedroom, The room had not been cleaned, the bathrooms had mould in the corners, hair was through the bathrooms and around lounge and fridge, there was a built up of dust. My friends and I were very uncomfortable with the state of the apartment so we spoke to reception and they could not change room but we’re willing to get cleaner to re-clean. After it was re cleaned I felt better but it made me question how could this happen. Overall apartment from the cleaning issues had a great view and location. Though I did find it odd that there was 2 receptions, we had to go to the 33rd floor to check into our room. Seemed like a different kind of operation happening there!?

The location is good, free tram right out front into the City, Woolworths supermarket right across the road, and a few cafes which are open - but only during the week. Weekend is dead at this part of Docklands. The booking, check in and instructions were 10/10 - cannot fault the customer experience. The room was tiny - a tiny apartment but adequate for our needs and the inclusions were good. My gripe and reason for low rating is the bed situation and cleanliness. The ‘king’ bed (two singles pushed together were clearly old and well used. One side had a mattress protector, the other side did not- and the mattress clearly had blood and vomit? Stains on it - visible through the sheet! The pillows did not have pillow protectors and were stained yellow. It was too late at night to rectify so I spent the night on the sofa. Reception were contacted and the bed was remade with a mattress protector - I advised it was unhygienic and needed replacement. They said they would after we check out. I hope they do! In all, some more attention to cleaning wouldn’t go astray! Eg, vacuuming - carpets looked like they had not been vacuumed, the vacuum in the place had no suction. Didn’t know what yo think of the pet protector over the couch - kind of ruined the ‘cute’ decor…. I’d focus more on bed than couch if I was them! Also, on a very windy night the high pitched drag of air/wind noise was very annoying, impeding sleep. A towel at the base of entry door fixed that. Would I stay again…. Because of the mattress - a big no. As for the facilities and location it’s a shame as it’s a good location and staff.

We booked a 2 bedroom riverview @ $550.00 per night. Thinking it will be lovely, on arrival discovered that our room was very unclean. Evident that the floors hadn't been vacuumed or mopped, hair everywhere, carpets dirty, hand prints over walls and windows, dead bugs on window seals, dead bugs squished into the ceilings, kitchen cupboards had food / drink spills, drawers not clean just felt dirty overall. Sink missing the drain plug, tiling on balcony not grouted. This isn't what you would expect in Melbourne city for $550.00 per night. I requested to change rooms but was advised non available, so we had to leave our hotel room and wait for cleaners to come back. They did an okay job it was better but still lots to tend to. It needs a proper clean. I emailed the hotel several times to complain and not had any response. I wouldn't stay here again. They either need to up their standard for rate they are charging, or reduce the charges for lower standard hotel.

The service I received over the phone regarding a booking I had made was promptly attended to and without fuss. Both reception staff and the manager on duty were wonderful in their dealings. 10/10 for service! When staying in Melbourne again I will definitely been seeking out this property 09/09/2022

Firstly we have stayed here couple times both were great , till this time , firstly we settled in and relaxed for a while . Then started to make tea . After opening the cupboard to get fry pan notice , piles of dirt running up the inside of it , right above the stove (. Ref to first pic ) then opened the over and there was food still stuck to oven tray , ok we cleaned it up and had tea , then went to load dishwasher opened it and the smell all most sat my on my ass. It was disgusting, did not use that the 3 days were there , so I went to have a shower but water woukd not go down drain , so I lifted the grate and I all most vomited it was clogged full of hair and dirt the whole length of the grate , that would be about 2.5 metres long , I spent $40 and 2 hours srubbing tiles and clean hair out , I bagged it up ( ref to second pics ) and weighted it 2.7 kilo of dirt and hair , told management only to get told he was off till next day and would call me , NO I called them and got told please understand as for Covid we are struggling and can’t get cleaners that was his reply. ??????? What the hell , 2 weeks on and I message booking .com every day and get told call Winston appt that I did and got told next time I come I can have a free 24 hour parking spot , I will not go back there , as for booking .com who I book it with , will be getting in touch with my solicitors, disgusting from both Winston and booking .com I will have to add more pick separately it won’t let me do it I will add after this review

OK so I read all the reviews before arriving and honestly I was worried. If there is something negative people comment on it quickly and the good reviews are ignored. I booked by bookings.com and got a great price for a 2 bedroom apartment in what I consider to be the ideal location in Melbourne. you are within a minute of Trams, buses and Trains. I questioned parking via the bookings.com website and response was fairly slow so I was about to cancel as all the False negative reviews and the slow response scared me. The day before we arrived I received a SMS with details on checking in including photos and when I asked a few questions replying to the SMS I would receive a response in seconds. Checking in was painless the and lovely staff met me and my family at the lift and escort me to the office to finalize the paperwork, collect keys and direct me to the car park at the rear of the building. Staff where super friendly and everything was good . I read someone complained about bond which was $100/night, I travel around the world regularly pre Covid for work and that is on par with everywhere I normally stay. The Room: we had a 2 bedroom apartment on the 63rd floor, lifts where fast and the room was great. the kitchenette and bathroom where spotless. the beds & pillows where very comfortable the tv had Netflix and Wifi was nice at 50/20mbps with 19ms latency so perfect for anything you wanted to do. The couch was comfortable and the views where some of the nicest in Melbourne. The floors especially under the bed needed a clean but if someone else hadn't of complained I never would of looked under the bed and the bed them self where super clean. only other thing was a couple of door stops where missing their rubbers and there was a bit of plaster missing in the corner of one of the rooms. However these are minor complaints and there is a vacuum in the room. having a family of four we accumulated a fair bit of rubbish and the bin in the room is tiny, however at the lift which you use regularly there is a garbage shoot select recycle or waste and its all gone so no need to pile up any rubbish and you can keep the room as tidy as you keep your home. the pool, spa, sauna and gym are on Level 33, I can't comment on the gym as i'm not a gym type of person but the pool, and spa where awesome and kept the kids happy on the hot days. Check out was super easy you just leave the keys on the table and lock the door or in my case I needed them to exit the car park and you ring the reception as you drive out and they meet you at the carpark exit and collect keys. The Building itself is residential apartments but looking around i'm guessing about 75% are rental apartment ran by 3 different companies. every person we interacted with in the pool area was staying as an apartment guest and everyone seemed happy. My family and I holiday in Melbourne at least once a year and we will be back. The Value for money is amazing and I couldn't be happier. Now before you complain look at the price you are paying, don't expect the penthouse at the Hilton if your paying for the basement at the Holiday Inn.

Probably one of the worst accomodations I’ve stayed at. Not only are the staff rude and uninterested in their guests but the whole apartment is disgusting. I stayed for 4 days and when we first walked in, the apartment was a mess. Stained couches and carpets, dirty towels, yellow stained sheets and dirty blankets - I was put off. Asked for new towels, and was told there was no one in the building to bring them to me. Had to wash the towels and dry them, but the dryer was broken, had them drying for 2 hours for them to still be soaking wet. Dirty glassware and dishes, a stained dirty floor and dust for days. Clearly there is no one following a Covid Sanitation and cleaning process. Asked to speak to a manger and was met with a rude worker who kept stating that the manager would not speak to me or resolve my issue due a negative review I placed on the booking website, so clearly this apartment is more concerned with their image than their customers. Overall this apartment was a waste of money, on top of the expensive price, I had to purchase cleaning supplies just to ensure that I could actually stay in that dirty apartment for 4 days. Also, was told that the facilities were out of use, so why advertise a pool, spa, gaming room etc if you can’t use it? Actual joke.
