Have just returned home after a 10 month stay at Quest Prahran (Insurance claim due to water damage at my real home).
I spent time across various size rooms (3 bedroom to one bedroom) at the back of the building and all were large in size, had fully equipped kitchens, great heating/aircon and super comfy beds.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff especially when my stay kept getting extended. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great especially under the trying circumstances.
Apart from the great location with market, supermarkets and dining options literally steps away, the owners live on site which I believe is a definite bonus as someone is always there to assist if need be, made it feel safer and I believe makes them care about the property more.
Let's be honest, no one ever wants to spend months on end at a hotel (especially across many covid lockdowns!) but Quest Prahran became my home away from home and I would recommend to anyone wanting short term or long term accommodation.

To all reading this review about quest prahran... considering weather or not to stay here, I cannot recommend this hotel enough. I have stayed at many hotels both overseas and nationally and by far this is by the best hotel I can reccomend.
The owner Matt and his staff are beyond friendly and accomodating treating you like family weather ypur staying for a night or longer. The rooms, service ammenities are the best around and have no complaints whatsoever to say about my multiple stays at quest prahran. Ample car parking, close to the cbd and prahran/sth yarra lifestyle makes it a must stay. Quietly located, your stay will not dissapoint

We stayed at Quest Prahran because my daughter was having a procedure in a nearby hospital. Lauren went over & above when booking our accommodation to move guest bookings around to accomodate a ground floor room for our stay so my daughter didn’t need to use the stairs. This was done very efficiently as the hospital only gave us 3 days notice. I would definitely recommend Quest Prahran and will definitely come back to stay on a lesiure basis next time.

I chose this hotel because it was close to the Alfred Hospital and also it offered secure parking (locked gates). We had appointments over two days and the hotel apartment was ideal as we could bring our own food supplies and didn't have to go out, as were staying during the COVID pandemic. Its very close to Prahran Market, although we didn't go but would have been great at another time. Apartment was clean and spacious and bed was very comfortable. I requested a walk-in shower at time of booking - not all rooms have them. Bathroom had great water pressure and hot water. I would recommend this apartment and definitely stay again.

If you can, get aldofo afternoon shift. Hes the best always willing to help. Not alot of car spots car pooling or public transport is best washing machine and dryer very clean for use. Very happy. BRING DISHWASHER DETERGENT!

Great location (5 minute walk to the Prahan market and cafes & bars), yet once you’re in the room it is very very quiet. Highly recommend for those with pets (dogs or cats). Staff are all attentive and very friendly.

This is one of the older properties owned by Quest as I have stayed at several others much more impressive for a similar price range. If it wasn't for the location, I would probably never consider this property again. First impressions were also poor - room number was covered by plants (as it was a ground floor room with external entry), bathroom amenities were missing, bathroom exhaust fan sounded like a truck passing so hard to not wake someone up when needing to go to the bathroom, the bins did not have lids and were external (not inside cabinet), bedroom wall lights were under repair. If you were thinking of an early night or a sleep in, then these rooms wouldn't be recommended. The glass doors and walls does not do much to block out sound. The saving grace of this Quest are the friendly, willing to help staff.

Dear Clifton C, We are so sorry to hear that you found our property to have average facilities and amenities. Thank you for highlighting our great location. Our ground floor apartments do have gardens outside and we must apologise that our rose bushes were blocking the room number. We will be pruning the roses in June and not earlier as there is a risk of killing the rose bushes if we were to prune them before this time. We must apologise if bathroom amenities were missing and I hope when you highlighted this that they were very quickly replenished. Unfortunately, the kitchen rubbish bins do not fit inside the kitchen cupboards, however, we will ensure that the bins do have lids on them. This will be raised with our Housekeeping team, thank you. You are correct the bedroom lights are under repair however, we do have bedside lamps in the bedroom in the interim. I hope this did not inconvenience you during your stay. All windows and doors in the apartments are double glazed and should provide a sound barrier. Unfortunately, we cannot control all outside noise however, I hope when you mentioned this to the front desk team that they were able to re locate you to another accommodation room at the back of the property. Our guests comfort is our #1 priority. Thank you for mentioning that you found the team friendly and helpful. We will most definitely attend to the comments raised and we do hope to see you stay with us again in the future.

Perfectly located in the middle that everything Prahran has to offer, yet secluded at the same time, this is the perfect place to base yourself for a short or long stay. Prahran Market, Chapel Street and the Train Station are only 200m from your apartment so you are connected in every way. Fresh food from the market can be enjoyed in the well equipped kitchens and the beds are super comfortable. The complex is gated for ultimate security and you can park out the front of your apartment. Staff were fantastic and on hand whenever you need. Will definitely be our go to place to stay on our next visit to Melbourne.

The apartment was extremely comfortable featuring full kitchen and laundry facilities. I liked how the bedrooms are located upstairs and the balcony off the main living area is very practical. Onsite parking was great and the location was key for our stay.

We stayed at Quest due to insurance works on our property, staying in a three bedroom apartment with our nervous cat. Upon check in, the staff were fantastic, explaining the days they would be cleaning and ensuring that the cat would not be able to escape, should she be inclined!
The property was large and welcoming, very light and airy. The bedrooms are not huge but the beds are extremely comfortable and the walk in robe to the ensuite certainly made up for it.
The kitchen was stocked with the basics and easy to use. We would happily recommend the property to anyone, as it was lovely and quiet in the heart of Prahran. The market is in walking distance and so are shops and restaurants.

You are surrounded by public transport and the station is close. If you walked to the Sth Yarra station about 10 mins then catch the train to Richmond which is the next stop then it's another 10 min walk. Very easy!!!
