This place is in a great position. Doesn't look like much from the outside but the apartments are quite beautiful. We had an upgraded 2 bedroom and it was huge. Massive kitchen, 2 bathrooms. It was a crappy Melbourne summer day so the place was very cold, hence the central heating got put on 27 degrees to warm the place...

Great location right in the centre of Melbourne, Nice rooms, very affordable for what you get, was very impressed up until check out and was recommending a return, but will never be returning due to how staff handled a certain situation at check out, very disappointing

The room was very clean and the attention to detail excellent. A great base for exploring Melbourne at a reasonable rate. They have a limited number of rooms available so book early or you may be disappointed.

We were in Melbourne for one night for a concert. This hotel had everything we needed. The 2-bedroom 2-bathroom apartment was spacious, very clean and comfortable. Big enough for privacy and quiet enough for a good sleep (and the beds were incredibly comfortable). We were on the top floor - it's worth noting that to get from our apartment door...

Conveniently positioned to so many attractions and very good restaurants/ cafes, the appartments have plenty of room and are well fitted with comfortable appointments. It is also architecturally pleasing to the eye and reasonably priced. Overnight parking is only a minutes walk. On the flip side, the place is just getting a little tired and could do with a bit...

We had a wonderful stay at this apartment as it was so spacious and comfortable. We were overwhelmed by the space and the location, with a wonderful view looking out to the Yarra.. The bathroom in each bedroom was another pleasant surprise. This place will be top of our list for our next Melbourne stay.

Perfect location. Great access to all the Melbourne has to offer. Shelley the receptionists was a lovely, warm, helpful young lady. Rooms lovely clean. Freshest, most comfortable beds you could ever want. Plenty of room in apartment..... You would be hard to please if you could find fault at this price.

We had a 2 bedroom apartment with great Windows , which was great for the fireworks on New Years Eve. In Flinders Lane, handy to trams, but also easy walking, lots of variety for eating out. A really convenient place, could be maintained a little better, but was very clean. We would definitely stay here again

A top stay with an ideal central location including fantastic views across Melbourne. The apartments had the historic, individual charm of an original era abode with modern kitchen, bathroom facilities - not another generic, boring hotel! The neighbouring laneway boasts iconic Melbourne street art, the famous restaurant Supernormal is right across the road and it's just a skip to the...

These apartments are extremely spacious, clean and are in a great location. But they're a little tired. A lot of maintenance not taken care of. Cracked shower screens, covers off taps and if you look closer just generally knocked around. I'm sure if they're hey day they were seriously grand but for a penthouse apartment the furniture was in no...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
