Being country Victorians we are regular visitors to the Sebel. We love the easy access, friendly welcome, and quuet location. The facilities are excellent, rooms very well presented with high quality linen and fittings. Great selection of restaurants at the door, and free tram to the city. Perfect!

Hotel's Favourite
So after a few nights stay in Dec and now in Feb I couldn’t wait to leave another review for the Sebel Melb Docklands. All my recent stays re affirm the wonderful time I experienced a year ago. I really find it incredible that anyone could not enjoy their stay at this cool hotel. Every single night stay recently has been flawless. From check in, to the room presentation to the hotel facilities, location and checkout. This time I booked in to spend some awesome time in the pool and spa. Oh my gosh!!!! How amazing!!!!! Check out my pics of this fantastic high end spotless space. The pool was warm and the spa was heavenly. Sauna closed to Covid but that’s totally cool. The view from the harbour view apartment is incredible and so close to everything. We went to crown with the tram(free) and then taxi back ($11-) easy peasey! The cooking facilities came in so handy. Limited utensils but enough to get you by and everything you need. Powerful heating and cooling or just open the balcony for some lovely ocean breeze and awesome room and bathroom facilities round out all you need for an extended stay like us. Anyhow I’m more then wrapped to reiterate my last review and I’m loving the royal purple colour theme and to award the hotel super hero status which includes the following hotel superhero’s! Reception superhero’s Samantha, Varun, Aaron, Nipun & Tina 💪 Room superhero’s Tanya, Tam & Lux 💪 To end I’d like to say it’s sometimes worth paying a few dollars more to get a lot more for your hotel bang for buck. If you stay at the Sebel Melbourne Docklands you may be lucky enough to meet some of the hotel superhero’s and enjoy some awesome relaxing space.👍🏼 go on treat yourself... Mr Dean

Booked a one bedroom apartment, absolutely beautifully furnished with a good kitchen area, bathroom and fabulous bedroom. Fantastic position right on Melbourne Docklands. My room had a very small balcony, but don't expect great views from many of their rooms. My room faced another row of apartments, including one which was under construction. Just a few steps, the waterfront, one long pedestrian area, shops and amusements close by. Fabulous view of the city lights by night. I felt very comfortable whilst there.

We stayed for four nights at Sebel Docklands. Everything was great , couldnt complain about a thing . Tina at reception was very helpful especially as i had booked my stay each night separately . We had breakfast vouchers and i would have to say we loved the breakfast in Capri restaurant . Its a pity that due to covid the restaurant closes at 1.30 pm and no dinner service available . Hopefully this will return as its a very good restaurant and we would have had more meals there if available. The appartment has everyhing you need including a full kitchen . We didnt cook so cannot say what is needed but it seems fully stocked with appliances , crockery , cuttlery etc for two people anyway . Two tvs are good , walk in shower in a decent size bathroom . There are full size cupboards and very good blockout curtains . A small balcony to sit or just look out and great to see the water . The only thing i think needs attention would be the lift as the buttion you press to go up or down was wonky on the twelth floor anyway , dont know about other floors . Also our door was abit stiff needs abit of servicing . Otherwise cant fault a thing , friendly staff and great value for money .

Great location in the Docklands precinct. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and easy to access. The only problem was very poor communication with Reservation staff as well as checking in. Was in contact with Reservation staff via email and by phone from interstate and booked a water front view room. After initial fast contact, I had to call each time to get some answers and unfortunately I received the excuse “Only Reservation staff can help you with your booking but they aren’t in right now”, so how do they make bookings if only one person can do this and they are never around. 4 days after my last confirmation of my room, I was still booked in a very small room, with no views. Very disappointed! Also, breakfast voucher was not received upon check in, but as it was only valid for the first night, I missed out. So only 3 stars given, lost a star for how guest bookings are treated. Otherwise, I would recommend to stay here, especially if you are out all day and just need a place to cook dinner and sleep. Good self contained facilities.
