I only heard great things about this hostel from friends and it didn't fail to impress! I was heading over to Melbourne from Asia and looking to stay for a few nights but extended for a week. The staff are really friendly and someones always on the reception whatever time of day or night. They have great nights on down...

From the helpful and friendly reception staff my quick overnight stay went off without a hitch. They even helped me carry a heavy suitcase upstairs. Rooms were spacious and reasonably quiet with the Windows closed. Would recommend ear plugs.

The staff were great and helpful. There was always someone there to answer my questions and they had the knowledge too. The bathrooms always smelt like bleach which made me feel better about showering there (even though I had thongs). Bed was very comfortable.

Thank you for taking the time to review Nomads All Nations. I am happy to hear the bathrooms were clean as we have worked hard to reach this standard. Our breakfast is advertised as free pancakes. I apologise if you were somehow misled. Enjoy the rest of your travels :)

Great location, I loved my room despite train noise. High ceilings and character in the building. Everything was clean and great kitchen facilities. Ended (and started) a few to many nights at UBar. Happy with my stay!

Hostel was way too hot throughout to gain any sort of comfort. No aircon just fans, I'm presuming they can not install as it's a grade listed building. But a 10 person dorm was difficult to breath in never mind sleep in. Beds were not steady making a good night sleep difficult even with the most well behaved and quiet...

Thank you for your review. Due to the age of our building, certain luxuries aren't as accessible. We do have free wifi between 7am - 7pm in the common areas. For use in your room do you need to purchase it. We do not charge for our lockers. They originally were coin operated however now you just need your own...

The hostel is decent enough, with clean rooms and bathrooms. The staff were friendly and it was really good to be able to leave our bags there for free. The only disruption was the other guests and the loud music from the Ubar but it was a Saturday night.

I really enjoyed my stay here in all nation. That's why I booked a night again. The toilets are clean and the stuff is very friendly. The reception is open 24/7. Definitely recommend it because it's also not that expensive and it's very central!

When we first arrived, it took ages to check in. Well fine, went to our ten bed dorm and took a clean bed. When I arrived later that evening some else had took that bed and there were no one left and the hostel were fully booked so I had no bed that night and didn't get ANY refound! And...

Thank you for your review and providing us with feedback. I'm sorry that someone had taken your bed. I believe you were given a spare bed with a friend in a 4 bed dorm for the evening. As you did stay with us we would not offer a refund. As a good will gesture for the inconvenience you experienced, the...

Hostel had a good vibe when I walked in and the staff there were friendly and knowledgable about Melbourne. Rooms where clean and the bathrooms were adequate. Guests staying in the hostel were friendly and the renovated TV/games room was a decent touch for the hostel. Recommend 👍🏼

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
