The room is very spacious, large bathroom and I liked the walk-in wardrobe. Just a few little issues. We were asked upon booking whether we wanted to be on a high floor (yes), but were disppointed when we got a low floor with a poor view. Complimentary wine arrived 2 hours after arrival, would prefer to arrive earlier. Had issue at checkout when presented with a bill that was for a different room. One afternoon we returned to room at 3pm to have a rest from walking around the city all day, only to find that the room was in the process of being made up.
Spent 3 glorious nights and the Crown Towers with my husband. It was amazing - we had a fabulous room and view and enjoyed the complex as well as exploring our city centre. I highly recommend a stay at the Crown Towers. The pool is amazing, and the service outstanding. Thank you to all the staff, especially in the Crystal Club, for making our stay so valued.
I have stayed at Crown Towers twice in the last 6 months and seemed to have issues both times. First experience: A bottle of champagne was suppose to be there on arrival. Nothing delivered. Rang the service desk and they said they would send one up. Never came. After dinner I visited the front desk where I let them know and they finally got it delivered. Asking 3 times for the same thing is a touch ridiculous. I can understand missing it on arrival but not the subsequent times. Second visit: Champagne on arrival hallelujah. Upon entering the room it was clean and everything was in neat working order. Went to have a shower, noticed the bottles of shampoo and shower gel were 1/2 full at best. Now I would naturally assume they would be swapped over on cleaning, so then I thought did they clean the shower since the last visit? To add a cherry on top one of the towels had a nice stain on it. Now none of these things are the end of the world but personally when I'm paying $650 a night for a hotel room I like to think these little things matter. That's why I chose crown instead of a less expensive alternative. Otherwise maybe I wouldn't of minded. But don't charge for attention to detail and then not provide it. I pay for the whole experience, not just the location and name. I will consider alternative accommodation next time I need to stay in the city.…
Crown Towers Melbourne is a little dated, certain areas within the room are dated, the entrance & overall feel is dated. My check in was poor, over an hour wait for a room, was upgraded however, but then had to chase my luggage. But rest of the service was good as expected. Everything including things like Nobu just need a big revamp. Unfortunately I will not go back when I compare to other Melbourne Hotels, however the Gym is excellent - best hotel gym I have been to.
We stayed in a tower suite for 3 nights for my 50th birthday. Everything was amazing from check in to check out and everything in between. Everything was spotless, in place, and perfect. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and no request was ever too much. We had an amazing time and felt very spoiled
My husband, my 2 children and I stayed at crown towers in the tower suite for a 2 night staycation. The room was fantastic. Very large and perfect for a family of 4. There was room for the kids to play and have fun and enough space for my husband and I to enjoy ourselves without waking the kids up at night. The views were incredible. During that stay we also had access to the crystal lounge. The service was impeccable and inclusions generous and delicious. Lastly, but most importantly crown was faultless at catering for my son’s allergy. They were on top of notifying me of any potential issues with cross contamination and even made fish and chips for my son using separate fresh oil so as not to risk cross contamination. We will definitely be back.
No room to sit, family of 4. 1 small hot tub, no sauna. When we spoke to staff about the No chairs dilemma they couldn’t care less. Getting to the pool is embarrassing as you walk past restaurants. Long walk
The two bedroom tower suite is amazing, I have stayed twice in the past month and will stay again. However, the food in crystal club is below average. Afternoon tea and pre-dinner canapes are included in suite stay but both were really disappointing - we left the food there, it was a waste. Also our room wasn't ready until 3:30pm (1.5 hours after check-in) which was pretty poor and not the experience we had hoped for. Perhaps a free drink in crystal club while we wait could have been offered to change a negative experience into a positive. I will stay again but just factor in that unless the menu and food on offer in crystal club as part of the "inclusions" changes, I won't be booking a suite as i'll be dining elsewhere.
As usual the service is 6 star, Lucky and Eunice in the Crystal Club once again went out of their way to make us feel special. The room, The ambiance, The attention to detail is why we keep coming back for well over 20 years.
Staff went above and beyond to make sure your stay was absolutely perfect. The room and facilities were very clean and completely spotless, The room and facilities or something you would expect from Crown and only could experience at Crown Towers. Absolutely amazing.
