There were some early problems in our apartment such as a refrigerator which froze all of our supermarket purchases. The manager reimbursed us for everything that was lost. We love serviced apartments when we are spending more than a few days in a city. We expect a minimum number of usable cooking supplies and don't think that we should have...

Pleasant staff with great people skills. Very helpful and made us feel at home so to speak. Very happy with room size. Will most definitely stay here again. Location is perfect right in the heart of the city.

Great location and good price. Need a bit updating. Rooms are smaller than they appear on the photos. Kitchen was great, saved by having breakfast in room. Big bathroom but getting in and out of bath to shower was no easy.

The hotel is very close to Chinatown and the Greek precinct on Lonsdale Street. It is also close to theatres such as Her Majesty's and Princess, and also to Parliament House and the Victorian Government offices in Exhibition Street. It is a short walk to the Fitzroy Gardens (with Captain Cook's cottage etc.). It is very good for shopping and...

2 bed apartment was good but a few minor maintenance issues with doors in kitchen made place feel a bit tired. Great location for what we wanted, cost over inflated for what we got though. Has gotten a bit tired since last time we stayed without any renovation.

Great location in the city, rooms need upgrading for the price. Stayed for 3 night had a voucher for 2 nights that I had won by staying at other quest apartments with work. Seemed like they didn't want me to use the voucher and made it known and also added a surcharge for the voucher nights (so not complementary after...

Great central location, noise from trams bell is a little annoying but didn't stop me from sleeping. I had a 2 bedroom room which has a nice layout and a fabulous massive spa bath only issue I really had was no tv in the room which is annoying as you cant lie in bed and watch a movie.

Staff friendly and helpful. No hot Breakfast. Even a continental breakfast would have been great. No Coffee replaced when used. Renovate of Perish in the competition. The bath looked so old I did not want to get in it even for a shower.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
