First time staying here in a few years and it is a great spot. Since my pre Covid stay it has been extensively renovated and is now a comfortable modern hotel with apartment style rooms. Amazing view over the Yarra. Staff were on point. Decent buffet breakfast. Only downside is the bar doesn’t open on Sunday and Monday nights which made it a hassle to walk through drizzly cold Melbourne to a nearby bar to meet people.

The staff at the Quay West Suites went above and beyond especially Malcolm and James on the front desk.They couldn’t do enough for you . Customer service at its best so engaging and very approachable. The apartment was fantastic spacious and clean . Location spot on . Breakfast delicious I have stayed at many hotels this is the best in Melbourne thanks to the amazing staff. Thank you Quay West staff for making our stay so special. We will be back ☺️

The hotel and staff were absolutely beautiful. Everything was clean and the staff were always friendly. I only gave 4 stars because the food was not the best experience. Dinner was pretty bad. We only ate there one night it was so bad. The salad was drenched in oil, the galic bread drenched in butter, and the chicken was so dry. Buffet breakfast was ok.

Came in to Melbourne to see the movie Oppenheimer, visit the NGV and do some shopping. Booked an apartment on the 11th floor overlooking the Yarra, Fed square and city views. The apartment was perfect, immaculately clean, modern and well appointed. Bed and pillows super great. Breakfast included which was also well catered and staff that Out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Thanks for a lovely weekend . See you next time.

Great location in Southbank, steps from the Yarra River, and very close to a bridge that leads to the other side of the river. There are lots of restaurants, shops, commercial activity on the river and north of it. Rooms were spacious and comfortable for a family -- booked a 2 bedroom suite with washer and dryer. Kitchen was well-stocked and appliances all worked beautifully. Calls to staff for extra detergent and consumables were answered promptly with ease. Overall -- we are looking forward to our next stay at this property. 2 thumbs up and would give 3 thumbs if we had another hand.

We really enjoyed our stay at Quay West Suites. This was an extension of my 60th birthday celebration and from our first contact with Natalie and James and throughout our stay, we couldn't be happier. They were kind enough to upgrade us to a higher floor with great views across the Yarra and our room was spacious and clean. The location of this property couldn't be better, within walking distance of pretty much anywhere in the CBD and Crown Casino. We also loved the pool and spa. I have stayed in many hotels in Melbourne, but the service and location of Quay West Suites is second to none.

What an incredible stay we’ve had at QWS Melbourne. It’s hard to know where to begin but it certainly starts with the most hospitable and warm welcome on check in. The reception foyer is the most spectacular I think I’ve ever had the privilege to experience! The rooms are amazing and spacious and the LOCATION hands down can not be beat! The naturally aspirated pool and spa area is more akin to a high end spa experience, coupled with a well equipped gym and a steam room thrown in for good measure to truely relax and unwind from our hectic schedules, a true oasis in the very heart beat of Melbourne. To wrap up and after staying in hundreds of hotels it’s a ten out of ten and a huge recommendation from me. Close to absolutely everything Melbourne has to offer from the arts to all the sporting venues to free tram access around Melbourne and all the bars and other activities including a literal stones throw to the Yarra and the South Bank precinct. Once in the suites you feel like your a million miles away in seclusion, privacy and safety. HUGEEEEEEEE shout out to the most endearing GM Jackie who leads by example a wonderful team including Michelle in operations, Natalie upfront and Reece and the team taking care of you in hospitality. I am so impressed with the high end fixtures, fittings and furnishings throughout the hotel and the impeccable state of the rooms and kitchens leaves me speechless. Finally don’t forget to check out the in-house Jarrah bar and restaurant which I highly recommend. I can’t wait to come back thank you team QWS…

This hotel really served it purpose. It is very central so everywhere was within walking distance. The staff were excellent [especially Malcolm], breakfast very adequate and the suite facilities were very good. It is a little bit tired and could do with some new net curtains. The bathroom was clean and tidy. Overall we were were very satisfied and will stay there again when we are in Melbourne. In fact one of our local friends said that they would put up visitors there they were so impressed.

Stayed here 4 nights. We’re delighted to be upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment on 20th floor with stunning views. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. All staff we met were friendly and helpful. The building is on Southbank and so easy to get around the city from here. Plenty restaurants and bars on the doorstep. Would recommend.

We chose QWS because it is superbly located for the city and cultural quarter but without any road noise. Not cheap, but worth every penny. Really friendly staff who give you their time, nothing too much trouble and a very good breakfast choice. We stayed for 6 nights and loved every minute of our stay. Being an apartment type hotel with residents meant that we were treated as guests not simply people passing through. We had a late flight back to London and Stephen kindly arranged for us to freshen up in a room before departing for the airport. To top it all we were upgraded to a lovely suite on the 8th floor without even asking. What a welcome. If only all accommodation providers could match the customer service we received holidays would always be great. Well done team QWS !!
