Located towards the outer edge of the CBD, this Hotel is still in a really central location. Lovely staff who were very accommodating and willing to help. A free upgrade on the long weekend was much appreciated and the room was spotless and in lovely condition. Furnishings were clean, modern and nice. We only ate at the attached restaurant once,...

Dear Ashleigh, Many thanks for the review. We have some excellent meal options at lunch from only $15 per meal. We also have a prepaid breakfast offer that reduces the breakfast price down as well. All the best Steve

Stay at this hotel for two nights on a weekend break I would defiantly stay here again. Nice quiet spot with the free city tram spot round the corner, ten minutes walk to main shopping malls & sites. Flagstaff gardens opposite & the Queen Victoria market round the corner.

brilliant hotel, good large room ,very clean and tidy complete with bar fridge and free Wi-Fi. Free city centre tram system stops just 2min down the road, only pay traveling out of centre.. Food was exceptional with a large selection to pick from and all the staff were the tops.

I found this to be an average hotel. Average waiting times for check-in. Average room. Average food. Average check out (with no tax invoice??). I found the Guest services compendium in the room was falling apart. The safe hit the cupboard door every time you opened it. There was grout on the bathroom tiles (not just inbetween). The elusive 11th...

Very well appointed hotel, great room overlooking the park. The staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant was excellent and I would highly recomend the duck. Although predominately a corporate hotel it catered well for tourists.

The room was spacious, clean , well furnished and even though it was a front room very quiet. We actually got the twin room we booked (not like other hotels when we checked in to find no twin beds). A beautiful hotel. The bathroom was clean, nearly new and well appointed. Check in/out was made very easy. Parking was affordable...

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
