This was our 3rd stay at the Radisson and once again it was spot on! All the staff are superb and the service exemplary, a special thank you again to the HQ manager and staff, who make the stay a wonderful experience. The rooms are very clean, airy and large, we stayed for 8 nights, with coffee and tea making facilities, complimentary gowns and slippers, room safe and toiletries etc.
Breakfast is buffet style with a chef on hand to cook your eggs to your liking and coffee made to whatever taste you like. Evening meals are as good as anything in town with special deals which we took advantage of plus happy hour, which is circa 2 and a half hours lol, is a real plus because the lager is great! Along with some fantastic wines.
The gym, steam room and jacuzzi are on the top floor and we found it quite relaxing to sit in the jacuzzi and lookout over the park after a nice walk around town.
Everything is close by or just a few minutes walk, trams, including the 35, QV market, the park, over the road, Witches’s and many more places of interest.
Guys can’t fault your place and we will be back again in another 2 years, keep the Prosecco on ice. All the very best John and Andrina x

Great location immediately opposite Flagstaff Gardens, a short walk to Victoria Market, and just around the corner from the Skylink bus stop (the first stop from Southern Cross station). Also just a short walk to tram stops on William Street and La Trobe Street, all within the free tram zone. It has a large lobby area with comfortable seating which can be used to enjoy a drink purchased from the bar/restaurant, which is immediately to the right of the lobby. The room featured a very wide (probably a super king bed) which was very comfortable and we overlooked the park which was nice. Air conditioning was good and facilities included a safe, ironing board and iron, coffee and tea making facilities (although biscuits have to be paid for at A$3.00 for two cookies), hairdryer and a fridge with milk provided. It had a good sized bathroom with a walk in shower including both normal and drenching showers, but no bath.

We used the spa pool (just a jacuzzi, not suitable for swimming), and steam room situated on the top floor. There is also a small gym and outdoor seating, and the facility is light and airy with good views towards the west of the city.

We bought drinks two nights running during the happy hour, made the mistake of not seeing a receipt and were charged full price on both occasions. We queried this on check out but did not have time to wait for the check out staff to investigate. Make sure you check what is being charged to your account at the bar.

My wife and I spent 5 lovely days at the Radisson Flagstaff during mid-May. The hotel is exceptional with well appointed facilities. The rooms were very comfortable whilst the food, both breakfast and drinks an evening meals at HQ's were so tasty and offered good value. All the staff at the hotel were very helpful but special shout out for James on front desk for his assistance throughout. With the location being on Williams Street, the hotel is only a 2 stop tram to Bourke Street or a short 5 minute walk to Victoria Market. The hotel is very quite and set facing the beautiful park gardens. When we are next in Melbourne visiting from QLD, we will definitely be returning to the Radisson.

Clean and comfortable. Definitely a highly recommended stay in the heart of the city. Easy access to the CBD, walking distance from all the restaurants the city centre has to offer. If you request a room with a view, you get a view overlooking the flagstaff gardens. The staff are prompt and polite. Parking costs $40 a night or $35 discounted which is a bit steep but considering its location I think it's still worth it. The hotel restaurant serves some decent bites but with the plethora of restaurants outside you're probably better off going for a stroll and grabbing a bite outside.

Our two night, one day, visit to Melbourne was blighted by some rather damp weather so we spent more time in the hotel than otherwise we would have.
The staff were efficient and friendly and heads up in particular to the head barman, very amusing, and to the concierge, very helpful and I'm embarrassed that I forgot to tip him for helping with our luggage.
We had a free upgrade to a very nice business class bedroom on the 10th floor with splendid views - unfortunately through the rain.
The location is good, just opposite the lovely Flagstaff Gardens and easy walking or free tram ride distance from the city centre.
The bar prices were not excessive for a good class hotel.
The service and in particular the food in the restaurant was splendid - well prepared and presented. We shared four starters between us and they were all imaginative and tasty.
So all around a good experience.

Nice hotel, well located in the Free Tram Zone and a short walk across to Flagstaff Train Station. Another bonus is the close proximity to Queen Victoria Market, which is excellent for daytime shopping and nighttime food, drink and entertainment.

This stay was booked by a travel agent, as part of a much larger 10-week trip encompassing 11 different countries and so, even though I am a member of the Radisson Rewards scheme, I was unable to claim my points as I did not book the room directly. The person I spoke to at reception was apologetic, even though this was not the fault of the hotel, and offered me a complimentary room upgrade as a member. This was much appreciated.

Our room was large and spacious and had a view directly across to Flagstaff Gardens. The bed was large and comfortable, and the room had complimentary wifi, an iron & ironing board, a hairdryer, a large television, a mini bar, and a large safe which was big enough to take my laptop and camera equipment.

My wife and I had been advised, by our travel agent, to use the Skybus to get from the airport to the hotel. However, I would recommend a taxi if travelling as a couple or a family. The Skybus cost us $20 each and dropped us off at Flagstaff Gardens, but the taxi to the airport on our departure day only cost $70 which included a tip. So, for the small difference, I much preferred the convenience of the taxi, which was arranged for us by staff at Reception.

We ate in the HQ restaurant on our first evening and the food was good, without being exceptional, and the service was friendly and efficient. So, all things considered, I would definitely recommend Radisson Flagstaff to anyone planning a stay in Melbourne. I’d also recommend becoming a member of the reward scheme in order to gain the benefits, when choosing Radisson Hotels anywhere.

Justin and the team ensured that our stay was memorable. We felt a bit apprehensive about bringing our infant to the city in the wake of the pandemic, but the team at the Radisson was proactive to make sure we had what we needed to feel comfortable. We appreciated receiving the COVID-safe practices that the hotel has established prior to our stay so that we had peace of mind knowing that our room was clean and sanitised. The service we received from every single staff member was exceptional, including concierge, room service, and restaurant staff. We felt spoiled and special during our entire stay and our experience affirmed why this is my first choice when coming to Melbourne.

We stayed this week for one night at The Raddison on Flagstaff for the first time to be close to an appointment in the legal section of Melbourne.
We normally stay in Collins Street up the expensive end but we immediately noticed how friendly and chatty every single team member was, even a lady vacuuming the hallway compared to our normal 5 star snobby place where the people just glare at you and you are seen as an interruption. The staff here are exceptional and the service friendly and faultless. What a great find this hotel is in Melbourne and much friendlier and superior than everywhere else I have been for some time.

We had 4 meals in the restaurant being afternoon tea, dinner, breakfast and lunch and all selections were delicious and once again so much better than we are used to and much better value also plus great restaurant staff as well.
We know nothing about how they run hotels so our meal discussions were around how much better trained with natural personalities each team member is and you can easily see they love their work and the guests and visitors they assist.
We used the valet parking, no fuss great service and we will certainly be back again.
Thank you to everyone at the Raddison and the enthusiasm they show is excellent.

First time visiting this hotel. Warmly greeted on arrival. I loved the temperature checks and sanitation station. Reception also offered gloves, masks and sanitiser wipes. Valet parking was great! Whenever we needed our car it was delivered to the front by staff with a smile.
We had dinner at the restaurant on the ground floor. Exceptional service by Peter. Unaware it was our 20th Anniversary, he made us feel welcome and he was very genuine, funny and helpful. Top bloke!! The food was absolutely delicious. I had the Salmon. After dinner we returned to our hotel and received a call from reception offering Champagne compliments of the hotel for our anniversary. We felt so special and valued.
The showers were also a big tick!!!! Fabulous!!
Bed was lovely and clean too. Loved the welcome to the hotel with my husbands name on the t.v.
Added a beautiful personal touch.
We returned for breakfast in the morning and was warmly greeted by Mario. Again, exceptional fast and efficient service. The food was delicious and spot on portions. Lovely fresh and hot. Mario was brilliant and checked on us through out our sitting. Nothing was too hard. Hot chocolate was nice and hot and perfect froth amount Mario noticed my water bottle was empty and offered to fill it up with some ice and some lemon wedges. He didn't need to do that, but he saw a need and kindly offered. Talk about going the extra mile!

The only minor thing about our stay was when we checked into our room one of the complimentary water bottles on the bedside table was half full. Cleaners may not have picked this up when the cleaned our room. There was also a few crumbs on the overnight food menu paper on the table.

Overall fabulous stay! Thank you

The staff could not have been friendlier or more courteous, they really made the stay at the hotel enjoyable. Rooms were clean and had a lovely view of Flagstaff Gardens.

I would recommend as a high-quality but also high-value, affordable option for anyone looking to stay in a central Melbourne location that also has the charm of a quiet area by the park.
