Arrived as lockdown was declared. Departed when Queensland let me back in. Given the circumstances the staff were always helpful and considerate and went above and beyond to help me. What more can I say?

Booked this Hotel as the regular Hotel we stay at is being used as a Quarantine Hotel. I was very impressed with this Hotel. It is just a short walk from trams down to the CBD on either Elizabeth Street of Swanston Street. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The Hotel also has car parking available. The Hotel offers breakfast and you can get a drink in the Lobby if required. Ben on reception was very helpful and friendly in allowing us to have a look at the apartments for future bookings. We will definitely be staying here again.

As a long term frequent guest of this hotel having been away for a year during the pandemic its been a pleasure to return to the Ibis Therry Street, Great consistent friendly attentive staff. Its got even better, the rooms whilst a bit spartan are so spacious and comfortable and always a good sleep had there. Special thanks to Merina at reception always so courteous and friendly and likewise to Rishal and Olivia in the breakfast dining room.

Needed a hotel as a base for a couple of nights in town and the Ibis was just the ticket. The hotel itself is simple but not so budget that you feel like you're in a not-so glorified backpackers. If you just need a place to sleep while you're in town then it's perfect. I had a double room which (and I'm sorry I didn't take a photo to help explain) had a large area to one side of the bed that was empty. I wondered if, in non-C19 times, whether there's usually an arm chair there. The room could certainly do with one. There'd still be plenty of space to lay out large suitcases. Really it was my only criticism. The only slight warning I'd offer is that on both nights there were people who were high hanging around the front door (there's a security guard there at the moment though so that made me feel more comfortable) and on the second day there was another couple of guys who were high or drunk in reception looking for a mate of theirs. As a solo female it did put me off returning to stay a little bit, but perhaps it was just a bad weekend so I certainly wouldn't avoid a return stay for that reason.
