Stayed here for one night for medical conference. Nice hotel with great room. One annoying thing was that you can't get to different floor without the swipe card which is a little troublesome if you are traveling in groups and placed on different floors. Breakfast was sumptuous and there were lots to choose from. Overall experience, superb! Would have given...

The hotel is situated in the heart of the Melbourne city and hence close to amenities. It has two entrances and can be confusing of you are using the GPS and in the car, because the car park is not where the GPS takes you. The average rooms seem smaller than at other properties

I've stayed in multiple 5 star/luxury hotels in Melbourne This is by far the most shocking in terms of sound insulation Head of bed is facing the toilet which means anybody using the toilet or the tap upstairs will wake you up in the middle of the night! Worst still, the snapping noise from light switches are cleary audible in...

This stay proved to be well worth the money for a special occasion. Yes the breakfast was a standout feature of our stay- but more than that, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. When we arrived we were still in our work clothes and looking a bit worse for wear, however the staff couldn't be more welcoming to us...

My wife and I stayed here during the Queen's Birthday long weekend. Right from our arrival were greeted by warm, professional staff. Our standard room was great and really spacious. The bar downstairs also had a great atmosphere.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Full of discovery and delight, Melbourne’s laneways tease the imagination long after you’ve put your weary feet up to rest. They weave through the heart of the city: cafes, bars, restaurants and boutiques, throbbing with conversation and espresso coffee. You never quite know what you’ll find around the next corner: cobblestone alleys, old beer barrel hoists and even vats of simmering organic soup. There is the air of Berlin in the street art, a touch of Paris in the umbrella-shaded cafes and, reminiscent of Rome, eateries tucked away in the most unlikely of places. Perhaps you might want a break and cross the Yarra River to Southbank - walk along the promenade, bask in the sun at a waterside bar and decide whether to go to the nearby casino or book a ticket at the Melbourne theatre company.
