No hot water in the morning was told need to run water for more than 10mins, uncomfortable bed, pillows. Very cold room. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Would not recommend very disappointed. Also noisy..

Great hotel, great location, clean & friendly staff, stayed here many times & it's always a pleasure. Parking next door, Chinatown close, as well as restaurants, bars, clubs & theatres. Would highly recommend staying here

Great location. Rooftop pool is bonus if you visit during summer. Even so the nighttime views from the roof are great. Disappointed with checkin experience - offered early checkin and phone call when ready but no follow through. Carpet frayed and bathroom somewhat dated but bedding seemed to be fresh and all was clean.

Centrally located, rooms are clean, friendly staff. Only issue - not sound proof, unfortunately could hear everything that was happening outside on the street. There was no chance of a lye in after a long night.

Lovely hotel located near Melbourne Central, Her Majesty's Theatre, Chinatown and the Melbourne Museum. Clean room, lovely staff and good value. Only down side of the room was lack of natural light due to design but not a major issue at all. Cheap weekend parking available across the street.

Good value for money, central for business or leisure, manageable size and friendly staff.. Good location in popular international eating area, manageable access to bus, train and train. have stayed there regularly for a number of years.

We upgraded to a superior room on the 17th floor. The view of the city was amazing. The room was comfortable and spacious and had all of the amenities we needed. The breakfast bar had a good selection of food choices and dinner in the restaurant was a pleasant dining experience. We would happily stay again.

Good location, friendly helpful staff, older decor, but currently being renovated, slow lifts, excellent wifi service, as a repeat customer the manager left a couple of beers as a gift which was a very nice touch. Recommend

We seem to have scored one of the newly refurbished corner rooms which was spacious and excellent - probably worth requesting! A good quality, functional bathroom, very helpful staff and a great location completed the attractive package. The only down side was the on-site restaurant which was a bit "soul-less".

I think you should cater for the disabled and elderly as trying to get up the front entrance was a bit of problem for me ,as I have two knees replaced ,and your shower room was very slippery the way your shower is ,it is to high the step and no handrails to get hold of when you get out...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Locals know that Chinatown is the tried and true place to eat before hitting the nightclub scene. The place simply buzzes, and the well-preserved buildings exude a sense of Imperial China stemming from immigration over a century ago. In restaurant after restaurant on Little Bourke Street, you'll find delicious dishes such as sizzling honeyed prawns, and value for your money. Stately matrons oversee family kitchens serving up age-old recipes. The lighting may be unromantic, the patrons loud, and the service no-nonsense, but the food is sensational.
