An excellent hotel located very close to the Southern Station, it may not be the closest area to the tourist places but it has a tram stop very close and it is free so getting to those areas will not be a problem.
The hotel does not have great boasts but it is very functional, its staff treated me with great patience and kindness since my English is quite bad.
The rooms are quite spacious and the one I had, on the 16th floor, had excellent views of the financial center. They were immaculately clean and, although it is something I never use, it has a fairly large television, a table with a chair in case you have to work, a small sofa and a comfortable bed.
The bathroom is not large but sufficient, it was very clean and had all the services you could expect, towels of various sizes, hairdryer, toiletries...
Although since I went with little time I didn't use it, it has a pool, spa and gym that I'm sure many people will give a lot of importance to and all of this at a price that seemed very reasonable to me.
Without a doubt an excellent option that I recommend.

The staff at the reception are friendly and helpful, room was ready early which was appreciated. The continental breakfast was good, very good value accommodation and a great location but I was somewhat disappointed by the rundown room on the ninth floor. The basin was almost blocked, toilet holder fell off the wall and a broken spring from the ancient old mattress was poking through the side, a definite hazard which I told reception about on checkout.
Hope that management takes this constructive criticism and at least replaces the mattress because it is a very bad look.

I stayed at the Atlantis for 4 nights and while the room was very comfortable and spacious, especially for the price it was lacking in some respects. I had zero natural light in my room which did make recovering from jetlag a little more difficult and while thankfully there was a kettle and small refrigerator I was disappointed to find no toaster or microwave.
The service was fantastic and Ruben took exception care of me, particularly when the air conditioner stopped working on my first night which was when I was moved to the room with no light. All the staff were very friendly and happy to help with any requests so for the price I was very happy. Thank you Atlantis for ensuring a comfortable stay.

DO NOT RECOMMEND: My sister and I shared a VERY small depressing room with twin beds that was rated superior for 4 nights in early April 2023. No way this is a 4-star hotel. The lobby is tiny and dark and the woman at check-in was dismal. The men working the front desk were much more helpful and pleasant. We had to ask daily for enough towels for 2 people. The breakfast buffet consisted of cereal and beans. Luckily we found a wonderful restaurant across the street called Code 3 which was awesome. Location in the CBD within walking distance of Southern Cross Station is the hotel's biggest plus.

We have stayed on several previous occasions. So naturally we’re happy to try again. Hotel is looking very old and neglected. Carpets in all areas. Lifts. Hallways and rooms showing wear but also very dirty. Reception staff friendly however room was average.
The doona on the bed appeared to be a double in a king size cover so covered 3/4 of bed. We stayed 2 nights. Room service almost non existent.

Bed ( doona pulled up ). Sheet still crumpled and doona still at 3/4 of bed
Towells. Fresh towells were provided but dirty towels pushed to one side under sink

Location is good. Close to transport

But over all was very disappointing and don’t think we will stay there again

I stayed here for 3 nights as I went to the Australian Open, checkin was a breeze fast elevator to the 6th floor very spacious and clean room and bathroom, great aircon which you can change the temp to suit, it did have a window which just faced a wall but I knew this before I went so I was not expecting anything different. The location is great for the open you have to walk about 8-10mins to catch a tram to the AO but that was simple enough besides you can stop at Coles and buy your food and drinks on the way. I also liked the simple things like the luggage scales which are free to use, you can fill up your drink bottles with cold water, They even put my water bottle in the freezer for next day. I didn't have the breakfast but had a look and it definitely was worth $15 scrambled egg, beans, bacon, toast, cereals, coffee and juice I highly recommend this hotel also the room was so quiet never heard any car noises, lift noises or people shouting etc

Fabulous and affordable. This hotel was great from the fast lifts, easy parking, friendly staff, comfortable beds and clean rooms to the location (tram stop right outside), it was the perfect Melbourne experience. We booked 2 rooms for 5 nights via an Expedia deal and I was concerned because it felt a little too good to be true, but I really had nothing to worry about. My only criticism would be there was nowhere to put folded clothes so we had to live out of the suitcase, the shower could have had a bit more pressure, and there wasn’t a rubbish bin in the room - just a small one in the bathroom - but for the money these are tiny complaints. My husband didn’t enjoy the breakfast as there weren’t any meat options but for $15 scrambled egg, beans, toast and cereal options seemed quite reasonable.

We stayed for a few nights in order to go to the Melbourne Cup, and were very pleased with our choice of hotel. It is ideally located, being close to the Skybus city stop, Southern Cross station (to get to the racecourse), a Cole’s supermarket, car rental from Sixt, shops/bars/restaurants and for activities on the river,

We chose a Grandview room, which was on floor 14, with a view between skyscrapers to the Docklands area. The room was fairly modestly furnished, but it was clean and well maintained. The bed was extremely comfortable. We also had tea/coffee making facilities and a fridge.

In the basement there was a lovely looking pool and a gym, but we didn’t have time to try either. A continental breakfast buffet was available at a charge.

It was very reasonably priced compared with other hotels we looked at for Melbourne Cup week. We would happily stay again.

This hotel is the worst I have stayed at in my entire life. I have travelled so much and stayed in 10's of hotels. This is the worst one.
The rooms are very small, the pictures are misleading.
The place says it has parking and then when you get here they charge you $25/day
They say breakfast included in the price and honestly if a child was to make me a sandwich I would have enjoyed it more than this experience. A hotel quality breakfast would include different types of eggs, pastries, meats like bacon and sausages, some dairy products like yoghurt and milks. Maybe some pancakes and waffles things like that. All this place provides is watery scrambled eggs, some toast and cereal. It's disgusting.

Is it value for money no, absolutely not and if this is what is meant to represent Melbourne then this is the last time I go to Melbourne.

HORRIBLE.

Location is perfect , 5 minute walk to/from skybus, south cross station . In room facilities are all equipped for enjoyable stay, including safebox, hairdryer, electric kettle, small fridge, instant coffee, tea bags, flat sreen TV. One invonvenience is too few power outles, esp. ones near bed . Breakfast buffet is served on ground floor near lobby. There are also fitness room, 20. Metered heated pool.

They do not cater for early check in as the room will not be ready! They do allow luggage to be stored there in a locked secure room, until the room is ready. There are restaurants nearby to obtain some food while waiting, and one can walk up to the riverside walk and Heliport, if interested.
