We stayed to go to the MCG to watch Friday night footy. This is the first time we have stayed here and couldn't believe the MCG was across the road. Would recommend this hotel to stay and we will stay again

So I thought some reviewers were being harsh but I guess not, now that I am here. What they say about it needing a new Reno, the lifts open up before arriving at the floor and the rooms looking old is really true. Showering in the bath tub..? Haven't done that or seen that in years. Worse is..We got a...

This was our first hotel at the start of a tour, it is well located opposite the cricket ground and sports arenas and very handy for a walk to the Botanical Gardens. Just a short distance away are the tram stops for journeys around Melbourne. It is also handy for a pleasant walk along the river. The room was comfortable...

The Pullman on the Park is undergoing renovation until the middle of the year, this meant a little noise and the main temporary restaurant on Level 1 had no character. Check in was offhand and perfunctory but other than that staff were great, Stephanie in the Executive Lounge was particularly helpful and clearly loved her job. The lounge was fine...

A last minute business trip to Melbourne found me staying at this hotel. Turns out that it's Grand Prix weekend ( car racing not my forte), first night of the footy season (ditto footy), so this poor old hotel worth about $150 a night (if that), charged 3X that.... ouch! Staff are lovely, rooms spacious, bathrooms old and if you...

Excellent service through out our stay with staff being very helpful and attentive. Rooms are generous in size but do need updating. Very comfortable though. Renovations in the bar and restaurant area was an inconvenience.

Great location, next to a lovely large park and a short walk to station, free tram service and river for boat trips etc. Had a problem with keys not operating lift to required floor and then not able to open door to room ! ( a few other guests had similar problems ) hotel apologised and arranged for a free...

Disappointing stay. I don't understand the economics of taking over a hotel, branding it a Pullman and then taking bookings before it's fully renovated. Surely it would be easier and quicker to do it without guests in the hotel. But I'm no hotelier! Issue is the place is awful and the staff know it, so there didn't seem to be...

I can not believe this is a 5 star hotel.. Rooms are very old, bathroom is disaster (scratched shower, stains on the walls). Even corridors are dull. You feel like in the hospital. Something is wrong with the elevators. Takes ages till it comes. Breakfast buffet is nice. The staff is good and helpful.
