This was our 20th staycation in our city and I was interested to see the post Hilton COVID make over. I booked an executive suite so that we could access the lounge but due to COVID there were only canapés & drinks Thursday to Sunday. And yes it took longer to check in and the there was no valet parking BUT the simple fact is there are not enough people. Our room was fantastic. Loved the view. Loved the bathroom. Yes I will be back.

I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always reviewed it positively , until now. I booked a double room for a friend and I to come back to after the Anzac game at the mcg. I had tried to book dinner the day prior and was told they would only be open to guests. On arrival I was told that the restaurant was not going to be open at all. Only bar food would be available and the hotel would try to limit non guest customers at the bar to make sure guests would not be inconvenienced. After the game the bar area was packed. Six deep at the bar. I am a gold accor member so had free drinks to collect. Waited 20 minutes at the bar to redeem and because there was no way I would do it again, so I ordered a pizza. Now this hotel is considered to be 5 star. The renovated rooms are great as are the beds, however it cannot be viewed as a luxury hotel with a closed restaurant, even with staff shortage. It's priority I believe should be its paying guests. That was not the case on Anzac day. It catered to many people just there for a drink, both before the game and after. Restaurant staff were behind the bar. It was chaos. At breakfast the offering was very ordinary. Breakfast staples but not large variety. I enquired about bacon and was told there was no bacon. Really! For this very disappointing stay I paid $305 for 1 night. Trying to decide whether I want to go back. It previously was one of my favourites.

We stayed this hotel for celebration our 8 years anniversary. Staff not really friendly and care. Room way too small. Had dinner at the restaurant and was order steak and steak super dry very disappointed. The good thing is the room was super clean

Pullman Melbourne on the Park is located right near then MCG which makes it an excellent location for us frequent footy goers. The other big drawcard is it has had a massive facelift and looks amazing! The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Unfortunately we had major problems checking in and were very disappointed with our room allocation. It was an over an hour after we arrived at the hotel before we were able to settle into our rooms. We spent good money staying at the Pullman on Easter weekend and were really let done by our check in experience. I hope this can improve next time we stay so that I can give it a 5 star rating which it nearly deserves.
