This is a very comfortable and well located hotel in Melbourne. Close to trains and trams - only a few minutes by tram to Bourke Street Mall. The rooms are spacious, very comfortable and quiet. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Would recommend as a good place to stay in Melbourne - great value for money.

Terrible and dodgy rooms, extremely outdated and old. Worst bed and cushions. Images on the booking site nothing to what the reality is. Room was small and you could hear everything from the room next door.

This was a city treat for myself. Very disappointed with the 1st floor room. Very small and dingy. Also very loud with the trains and teams. Staff are fantastic and location is excellent. If staying again I would definitely ask for a better room.

Elaine was fantastic to deal with and the hotel was great value and service from the entire team at Batmans Hill. Conference room was perfect the classic lunch included in the price was excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel for a conference; we will come back next year.

This is easy walking distance to Skybus and Southen Cross Station. Trams at the door. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was underwhelming but most hotel breakfasts are. The guy on reception when I checked in was as slow as a wet week - not what you need at midnight after a long flight delay

We had a four night stay here. The main reason for choosing this hotel is for the location - is perfect. It is right across the road from the SkyBus terminal to and from the airport - the only way to travel to and from the airport. It is also the same location for the train station, which is massive and very efficient. The best way to get to The Melbourne Cup. It is also close to loads of shops and restaurants and the river. Across the river there are loads of restaurants and bars - a 10 min walk away. We had a lovely one hour cruise on the Yarra river one afternoon. The hotel itself is a little tired but it's functional and you don't spend that much time in the room. The room itself was OK but had absolutely no drawers and the tiniest open wardrobe we've ever seen (I think it used to be some kind of cupboard)! We kept most of our stuff in our suitcases on the floor,which was fine. The breakfast was OK - small choice but adequate. The bar was OK too with a nice selection of drinks. …

They just didn't care, too busy even after we complained no hot water, broken kettle, broken phone and drains that smelled the room out!!! The was one of the most disappointing stays we have had in years and the promise of management contact wasn't met either.

Good location, comfortable clean room. The down side to the location was it was noisy. The other thing I as disappointed with was that my booking stated parking available but it didn’t say it was $35per day and you have to leave your keys with reception in case they have to move your car.
