We usually stay elsewhere, and found Zagames by accident on Bookings.com. Thank goodness! We will be back. Exceptional & relaxed service (especially Dean with his local knowledge & friendly nature), clean & fabulous rooms, lovely personal touches, great wine bar & sensational breakfast. Quirky things to look at at every turn. Such a cool vibe. I think we have found our new local when we visit Melbourne!

My wife and I have stayed at Zagame 4 times in the last six months. Each stay was exceptional - our most recent stay was even more satisfying due to Hayden's highly professional, friendly and efficient service. He went above and beyond which made all the difference to our stay. Management are very lucky to have him. Highly recommended.

We have been deliberately looking for fresh boutique style hotels with character when we travel now and Zagame's House perfectly met what we were looking for. The rooms are wonderful - great bed, large bathroom, staff friendly and helpful, a really neat Wine Bar attached, welcoming breakfast cafe downstairs ..... right on the vert edge of the Melbourne CBD. They thought of the guests when designing the room - I have never seen so many powerpoints in a hotel room ... and double glazed window kept all the noise out. Highly recommend this delightful hotel.

Shout out on to Haden Benseman, Asst Hotel Manager who went above and beyond to help me with my aircon and temperature issues 😊 the staff overall were very friendly however the room wasn’t serviced until late in the day, after 4pm which was a little inconvenient. This was most likely down to shortages in staff from covid etc so understandable. The decor and layout of the room was well done. Was a great stay overall.

Must recommend this hotel highly, it’s location is superb and parking onsite is amazing. A great base to explore Melbourne from and incredible food is only a few steps away. The room was so comfortable, the shower very spacious and all towels and toiletries were top quality. Unfortunately, (due to our need to travel right at this time), the room rates were a bit inflated because of school holidays and the Grand Prix, but we did not have to pay any hidden extras on checkout whatsoever. I would like do a shout out to Haden in particular, (hbenseman@zagameshouse.com.au), on the front desk, as he was exceptionally polite and welcoming.

Howdy catherine9012015, Short and Sweet is sometimes the best :) So glad to read you found our house and had a lovely stay! Yes the rates were higher because of the grand prix (The only real event Melbourne has seen in 2 years) ! Thank you for the shout out for hbenseman@zagameshouse.com.au. See you next time out of a peak period :) Cheers Tanya
